Does anyone know, assuming the breathalyser passes all the required tests, if the plan is to license it to another company to manufacture and sell?

Producing 100 million breathalysers and getting them into shops is a major undertaking, even for a company with such experience. If the results are expected in a month or two I'd expect those discussions to be at a pretty late stage, especially considering the need to roll this out quickly. Any news?

My first guess is it's because you're comparing full years (1991 to 2003) to one that isn't even over yet (2020). Also, the pandemic didn't have an impact until mid-March 2020, so the worst of the winter season wasn't included.

If you want a further explanation I'll need to know where you're getting your data from.

Btw, for someone who asks the 'tough' questions, you don't spend a lot of time trying to work out the answers.

Doubt it. I don't think any upcoming news (e.g. first dosing) will have a significant impact on price and I don't think anyone's conspiring to drive down the price because they're in the know either.

I'm still confident we're looking at success here in a few months. But my guess is that people here are nervous due to the lack of news expected in the meantime, and they're moving money out of here to put elsewhere over the weekend and the coming weeks in search of easier profits.

I don't expect a meaningful change here, either way, until early January in anticipation of the Phase 3 results. I'd guess 120p by mid January. But in my opinion I think it's likely the 1.2m treatments they're expected to produce next year will be in high demand.

That means 1 person will die for every 28 who catch it.

That was me, by the way. The problem is, these reports don't support what you're claiming. I'm not going through all of it and explain it to you. I'm not here to try change your mind. At least you've looked for some information in roughly the right place, which puts you way ahead of most people.

Sars had 8000 cases from start to finish, scattered all around the world. It had been and gone in 8 months.

Even if they had an effective drug candidate from day 1 they would have struggled to put a trial together quickly enough. It's a foolish comparison.

That's around 1 death for every 28 people who catch it. I wouldn't say I like those odds, personally.

This season's flu vaccine is mainly composed of strains isolated in 2018 and 2019. Because several of those flu strains were isolated less than two years ago, there's no way that vaccine could have years of testing. But hundreds of millions of people routinely take them every year. They're safe and they save many lives.

I agree they're buying it to store larger quantities of the Covid vaccine. But they can begin the vaccine program without it. That's the part you misunderstood. It's clearly explained in the link I posted.
