I find it incredible that Elephant Oil has dropped it's plans to IPO having spent the last 2 years trying to progress an IPO on NASDAQ, they have had this change of plan without, it appears, even informing their shareholders, having had some communication with them on X their new plans are secretive and not not to be made public ?
What is clear is they have had some pretty high level meetings with Gov ministers in various jurisdictions so what the heck is going on? More importantly how do shareholders (RRR is one of largest ones) extract value from their holdings ?
As ever Helpful claims to know all, but I am, quite frankly, not a believer in his commentaries as I have noticed via his X posts he is not as well informed as he makes out.
So the question is are RRR sitting on a potential windfall with their EO stake or not, lets say if EO were to make a major discovery (or there was one near to their licences) then they could be worth $50m+ (or much more) of which RRR own circa 5%.
This investment is sitting on RRR books at just £140k.
