Over the last 18 months we all know that Lanstead have sold circa 700m shares from their total allocation of 1m, that is approaching 20% of the company but there have been no TR1 statements to suggest anyone has acquired these shares.

The question remains who has bought this stock, I find it hard to believe that retail investors would be the recipients, it does make you wonder if someone is building a position in the background via nominee accounts hence not having to declare.

I still find it exceptionally hard to believe that no major would be interested in ORR's activities in Cameroon, a potential new gold district.

I still wonder if ORR will attract the likes of Barrack who acquired a significant stake in minnow Tembo Gold a few years ago, their shares sky rocketed on the approach, remember ORR were one of the major holders of Tembo but got coerced into selling their position for relative peanuts 6 months (or so) ahead of the approach.

In this high price gold environment I find it exceptionally strange that ORR's share price has halved over the last 12 months, it looks too cheap but so did Tembo at the time of the approach !

Hate to say it but exploration projects in Canada are not well received by the market, just look at FCM, FMET and PALM share prices as an example + they have all spent £ millions in the process.

A strange move by ECR in my view.

So the key individual that was praising Conroy's project up (talked about a new Fosterville etc) now moves to BHP and resigns from the BOD of CGNR due to possible 'conflict of interest' well to me that implies BHP may be interested in the project.

No wonder talk of a deal is close, remember, the CFO let slip talks with parties are 'advanced' in a recent interview.

I suspect the short positions are getting worried, everyone knows they are working here, a stock easy to manipulate with poor PR and non existent RNS updates. That said buyers are returning sensing value and chart support, a few 100k buys and the price will bounce hard wiping out those CFD and SB gains.

This is a perfect trading stock, time your entry point correctly and 20%/40%+ gain is guaranteed.

We generally have multiple funding offers an order of magnitude bigger and there is only one concern we might have on that - that we should not dilute at low prices just before possible developments that would be significantly positive!

So the suggestion that we are reduced to the 'pathetic' state of relying on 'paltry sum[s]' is unfounded. it is untrue and damaging - and if I say it is b*ll*cks, as I do, it is because I have abundant written evidence to prove it.

You offer to bet the ranch on a particular prediction, but you don't say who will take your bet. You should have asked me: after all, if I'm not allowed personally to take on the market (all those prohibitions and regulation get in the way), I'm sure I'm allowed to take you on.

For what it is worth I believe Anglesey are working on a number of initiatives to deliver near term value, these have been discussed before, a number of juniors have finally decided that funding via equity is no longer a viable option so are looking elsewhere via grants, loans, JV partnerships or outright project sales.

The reason people buy these stocks is simple, IF the right deal comes you can make life changing sums of cash, (GGP comes to mind) if you buy large/mid caps not so.

At current levels the whole junior mining space is bombed out, it appears to be turning up after 4 years of decline.

Buyers have been nibbling at AYM for a few weeks now.

For those interested the recent podcast was replayed on Sunday and, once again, commentary was made about the relevance of PDAC which Conroy are attending next week.

Reading between the lines management appear to be confident in securing a partner, they have stated talks have been ongoing with prospective interested parties since Demir exited last April, the CFO said that certain discussions were advanced, he implied it was only a matter of time before a deal was struck.

It does look like management are very confident so no wonder buyers are appearing at these very depressed levels.

A number of very lowly valued junior resource stocks have started to re-rate, the sector is hideously oversold and been in demise since early 2021 however no sector/index or stock goes down forever.

I feel AYM is materially miss priced by the market, does anyone remember when the former CEO took over how he showed a presentation that demonstrated that AYM was the lowest valued of all peers by a significant margin, that disconnect has fallen even further.

My bet is we have seen the bottom share price wise and the stock will gradually re-rate on thin volume, also apparent that a number of CEO's have finally released that equity funding at huge discounts is no longer a viable option and are looking to secure finance via other routes.

Lets see what happens here, I do feel there is more going on behind the scenes than may be apparent on the surface.

The balance sheet has much improved, they have paid off the $3m CLN in shares (of which the overhang has nearly cleared) they have a gold loan which has been extended to Dec this year of 1,800 oz, the other funding is a 'shareholder loan' of circa £2.5m, debtors and creditors cancel each other out.

In other words there is no stress on the balance sheet, the company seems to have supportive lenders and these loans should be immaterial in the scheme of things based on forecast and seemingly attainable gold production.

Even accounting for the above loans they are small in comparison to other junior producers, the investment proposition looks excellent moving forward IMO.

Should be a nice bounce when the Devonport overhang clears, looking at the historic trades they seem to have cleared the bulk of their 147m share position - with gold surging in price and GRL delivering record production last month (and now hitting higher grades) the shares look cheap.

The stock traded at 1.8p in November and 2.2p in August.

Once again there is nothing available online at offer price, anything that comes onto the market is being snapped up, no wonder, the podcast today stated they have been in JV discussions, off and on, since Demir exited, they are attending PDAC in early March and are hoping to advance discussions further.

The CFO would not be drawn on timing but he said the JV could come as early as Q2 and mentions discussions are 'significantly advanced'

All this and the company is still only valued at £1.5m.

Seems like there is a large buyer in the background, the stock is well bid and has been hard to buy in size for some time now, updates across various projects is well overdue.

All it takes is just one decent piece of news and everyone knows where the share price will go !

This is starting to get attention from a few well followed X accounts, when these guys get involved some of their followers tend to buy, you could call it the snowball effect, as everyone knows liquidity in Conroy is exceptionally tight so expect to see volumes increase, the share price will follow.

Interestingly over recent sessions the AIM index has broken through a major moving average, this suggests that money is returning back into the small caps.

Conroy could well be the next multi-bagger, it starts from an exceptionally low base, £1.6m m/cap.

I would not rule out some form of corporate development here, basically the company is under new leadership, Marian Moroney spent 20 years with Barrack Gold in various senior roles and the new Chairman John Sherman has over 25 years experience in public markets and had a high profile position at JP Morgan.

Both these individuals have been interviewed recently and want to progress Conroy in a more dynamic way, they have compared Conroy's project to Fosterville.

How can it be this company is only valued at £1.5m, well that is AIM for you, no wonder buyers are returning, securing a prominent JV partner is only a matter of short time it would appear.

At current levels buying the shares are as close to a no brainer as you can get on AIM in my considered opinion.

Everyone knows that the current market valuation is ridiculous, it was mentioned on a podcast yesterday that the 600k oz JORC gold resource is valued by the market at ZERO, they pointed out that even a shell company would be valued at £1m to £1.5m, Conroy is currently valued at just £1.3m.

Due to the tight free float (only 55m shares in issue) the shares can be easily manipulated, it appears this has happened to the downside, however, just a trickle of modest buying volume over a few sessions could reverse the depressed share price dynamically. I feel this may happen sooner than many think.

Longs may recall the late Professor was furious when the share price was 'only' 20p a few years back, at that time Conroy was valued around £9m, whatever would he be thinking now ?

With gold at $2900 oz and the share price in the gutter the floor is clearly in here.
