One thing we know for sure is the price they will be getting for their gold will be around $125-$150oz higher than in Q2, that will be very helpful to the company, even higher in Q4.

I listened to the entire call and asked questions which were re-formatted and answered in a robot type fashion. One question, latterly deemed price sensitive, was not asked or answered.

Whilst the CC was rather stage managed, this will always be the case due to it being recorded and governance issues - there were a number of reasons for optimism, both JB and LC made a few selective comments that, to me at least, suggested they expect the share price to respond to a number of news releases in due course.

I am happy to hold, if one looks at what has happened to VAST and PREM over the last few sessions it would only take one decent news release from AST to deliver a strong re-rate from current bombed out levels.

Everyone thought buyers of PREM at .03p were quite mad, it is now .16p

I thought the CC was cold and calculating with LC's tone being especially so - there was no 'feeling' for the long suffering shareholders, it's almost like the last 2 years of shareholder value destruction have not existed.

This is the problem with CC's they are recorded and they have to be squeaky clean, it is why shareholders cannot ask questions directly. There were a few hints that all may not be lost, they dropped these throughout the call - when it is on the website I would urge shareholders to listen carefully.

I will be holding onto my shares as I believe there may some value events ahead. Will add more thoughts later.

I will listen in tonight but I do not like these conference calls, Ariana Resources held one last week and it was poorly handled with shareholders frustrated, unable to ask questions due to technical issues and a moderator totally clueless concerning question content.

I think JB & Co are playing chicken, there should have been an investor event in London where shareholders could get face to face with these guys, further the call will be recorded so one has to be 'polite' whereas at a investor event more direct and challenging questions can be asked -with appropriate 'comment' to unsatisfactory replies !

Let us see what is said, it is way past time these guys actually did something tangible to justify their salaries.

You could go on and on - I just hope the CC is not staged managed as I think there will be more than a few angry rants coming JB's way.

Bird has always put his money where his mouth is since he took over the running of XTR - he has also made a mockery of the current market value of the company, sub £5m

I hope Q4 will start to deliver the long awaited re-rate, there should be a decent run of news to deliver this .

A few years ago the market cap hit £11m, the company was far less advanced with it's projects then - that is worth noting.

Failed to mention that there have been some very large trades in JLP over the last month or so - it looks like some is building a position.

With the unique metals extraction process, environmentally friendly, Jubilee could well be a takeover candidate, the whole operation is extremely profitable.

Buyers are coming in for the stock right now, no wonder at it, the company is in good health indeed, as mentioned, seems materially undervalued.

I hope I am wrong but I am getting the distinct feeling that there is not going to be any news before tomorrows conference call. If this is the case what is the point of it?

Long suffering shareholders (a matter the new BOD have not acknowledged) are fed up with words, promises and forward looking statements, we want action.

I am FAR from impressed by JB's tenure to date, no action & a farcical fund-raise dressed up as a good deal but in essence the only winner is the supplier of the funds.

I hope I am wrong, I also hope the CC is not stage managed, is JB playing chicken, afraid to front up to shareholders in a face to face event in London for example - this would surely have been a better option IMO.

I also find the timing of the CC (5.30pm) to be very odd, after market hours.

The recent interview confirms everything is on track at Jubilee to deliver serious growth ahead.

The share price looks like is it starting to re-rate accordingly

Broker has net profit for 2020 of £17m rising to an amazing £41m in 2021.

On any grounds JLP is seriously undervalued (about £60m m/cap)

Based 6 times forward earnings in 2020 - the share price should be north of 6p - That rises to 14p in 2021

Numbers based on 1.85b shares issued - no need for equity dilution as the company is profitable.

I am still around - I am truly sorry for long term holders here, I have followed events closely since they jettisoned the mining projects and decided to move into power.

The AIM market has been starved of volume for a long time now, it is no surprise that market makers are taking the juniors down to levels never thought of before - things can change quickly, remember the KIBO rise from 1.25p to 13p in a few days !

I suppose it only takes one deal to drive a strong re-rate, rises of 500%+ from bombed out levels are not uncommon on AIM, look at PREM and VAST recently for example. The fact the BOD has taken stock has to be positive.

Something is going on here but what is hard to determine - new large holders buying in + Pearce and Johnson have £1m at stake with their 20% - now worth about £50k, they will want some hope of seeing that back

Is it worth a punt or not is the question - new BOD members, Bell going - news is needed

Why have we heard nothing concerning the seismic data - it was supposed to be delivered to market mid September

I am losing faith in JB - he promised a great deal at the investor event and has delivered nothing, he did not even attend the AGM

There should have been another investor event in London so concerned shareholders could meet him face to face - it is like he does not want front shareholders.

Not impressed by Louis C either, he clearly said he would buy shares in AST when asked in March - he has not.

I attended the investor event in March, I attend many such events over the year, to make it clear I was very impressed by the positive statements made by John Buggenhagen concerning Ascent's project in Slovenia - he suggested it was one of the best he had seen.

I was convinced (as were others) there would be material news-flow coming from AST some months on from that presentation - so many avenues to restore value were mentioned.

I have to confess significant disappointment that nothing meaningful has materialized since but I fully believe news will come ahead of next weeks conference call - possibly on the same day (15th)

Without some significant event I see no reason at all to hold the call, if volume picks up in AST stock you will get a clue IMO.

They have delivered a good deal from a pretty dormant asset - allow for the fact they will retain 20% of the Mankayan Copper-Gold project the £5.8m share element being given to BZT is probably worth .75p a share - even discounting down by 50% equals .37p per BZT share.

Not forgetting the other projects !

You make a very good point concerning the financial position, they had £69k at 30th June and the burn has to be circa £50k a month so 3 months on they have survived without a placing or any form of loan.

It does make you wonder if they have another avenue for new cash other than placing stock - I note the references in the interim's about keeping dilution to a minimum.

Are they about to bring in a JV partner for another project that will forward them cash for example?

Even if they do place stock sentiment seems to have changed given the recent RNS - there was bullish commentary from a broker circular I received today concerning Bezant, I suspect the shares would race ahead post placing.

Will be interesting to see what unfolds here over the next few months, it looks undervalued at current levels to say the least.

Riverfort are not selling at a loss at all - the lower the share price goes the less AST get by way of cash - that is, in essence, how the fund raise works.

There is no way Riverfort will lose out and that is why the fund raise was awful for shareholders, it was dressed up as funding at a premium price but far from it - as for our new chum Louis Castro being an astute financier, well he is sure not showing his mettle at AST if the recent 'effort' is the best he can do.

JB HAS to deliver something meaningful before the CC next Tuesday, he inflated everyone's expectations in the March shareholder event yet has delivered NOTHING since.

I cannot see anything other than a placing coming very soon, do they have any other deal cooking that could deliver much need cash? I think not.

Get the placing out of the way and this could move up nicely IMO

Here is the statement that matters - from the most recent half year results.........

'The Group made a loss after tax from all operations for the six months ended 30 June 2019 of £387,000, had negative cash flows from operations and is currently not generating revenues. Cash and cash equivalents were £69,000 as at 30 June 2019'

Looks like there will be a placing coming soon - I suspect most has been forward sold on yesterdays news, they only had £90k in the bank in June - last raise was in May 2018 at .36p a share.

To raise £500k they would need to issue 300m shares if they could get .15p

As expected the Prof uses the placing game to gain more support - feel sorry for the requisition parties, no matter how many shares they buy it seems in vain - at CGNR the requisition parties went to Court to stop such an attempt to place stock during the process.

I am staggered the Nomad has not been approached to see fair play - clearly this fund-raise is purely for one purpose, not for the benefit of ALL shareholders.
