This is hard to tell...
Cirata is a tough nut to crack and - no offense - but in he past they had CRO's with track records that were much more impressive than Arcari's.
Telco background and he changed between direct sales and partner sales (and sales management).
This might be a good thing for them, given they haven't replaced Danny. I never met Dominic, never dealt with him in any capacity. We don't even have many mutual contacts on Linkedin, which I find quite unusual. No C level connections within Automotive or other Telcos, left alone manufacturing, banking - also continental Europe is underrepresented. The biggest cloud migrations take place in the EU right now, not in UK, even SK touched on that in one of his last videos. Maybe they have someone there, but I haven't heard anything so far.
The narrative has changed, with Dev Ops gone and an easy to deploy self service solution we will probably see smaller deals, but on the bright side, there might be a lot of them.
I wish him all the best, but unless he is magician, he will need time to adapt to Cirata and the market will need even more time, new product without references are hard to sell. Maybe customers or prospects were directly involved in the development, as in defining requirements and so on. This would change the situation.
If my assumptions are right, Symphony might be more of a self service tool (so DEV ops became obsolete, kinda...). This might also explain, why they slimmed down the salesforce. If those mysterious deals (that keep on slipping for more than 12 months) were ever real, these can't have been Symphony deals and it'll be harder to close them without the Dev Ops team.
I fear that the Q3 numbers will not be good, but I hope that by the end of Q4 we will see Arcari's impact reflected in the numbers.
I just don't understand why they created such a hype before releasing Symphony and now we're only getting 60 second wishy washy marketing videos.
I thought they would release a full feature demo with Paul Scott Murphy. Nothing.
A bit like TikTok.
