Those were my initial thoughts as well, but am now seeing this as a "build up" exercise.

If CC is dealing with the presentation, which seems to be the case ( with the CFO's help), I would be amazed if "the science" didn't get a look in somewhere in the process.

The AVCT Interims and associated update/presentation is on 30th September, and both Dr Coughlin and Brian Hahn ( the CEO and CFO respectively) will be dealing with matters which to me seems to have strong strategic and financial significance. It seems to suggest that Avacta is preparing investors for positive news that could affect both the SP and any future funding arrangements.

On the following day the Tech awards take place at the Park Plaza, Westminster Bridge and Avacta have been shortlisted.

These two events precede what could be considered the main event, Dr Tap's poster delivery at ESMO, Berlin on 19th October, and it makes me wonder whether these three events are merely a random confluence of events concerning Avacta and its progress, or a careful arrangement for a purpose. I tend to think it's the latter.

As always, time will tell.
