The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Thanks both. The Rns today cleared it up much better for me. I was wondering whether there was a chance that the trial had been completed and St George Street might have been selling a little but the news this afternoon shows that they have not.
Yes, some shares were brought this morning at 390.
I wasn’t blown away by the figures this morning as was hoping the figures would show an overall profit on the balance sheet. I can say the company has done a complete ‘u’ turn in the past few years and should it continue, will see further growth in the years to come.
I’m not invested Arb - if Bitcoin does grow as much as predicted then mining companies could have market caps in the 10s if not 100s of billions. So I still think there is a huge upside for Arb. Clp - I am invested in and I see an uplift but there are a few unknowns at the moment which is holding the share price back. Once the newsflow starts about Bitcoin mining the share price should rocket.
The share price yesterday closed at 380 with an uncrossing trade. This was the highest it had been yesterday - but it was actually trading in the range of 350 - 360. The share price over the last few months has risen relatively fast yet incrementally so it is almost unnoticeable. I think there may be a buyer in the background.
One of the difficulties I find with penny shares is that because I get in at the bottom and they are high risk I overlook the value as they increase in price. For me, at the moment, this is a long-term hold.

CMB mentioned by Zak Mir in share talk.
It's really difficult to know with this share. There have been a few small trades that could indicate news on its way. Are we awaiting any updates?
It's difficult to know... There have also been a few small strange trades - hopefully there might be an RNS in the morning.
I’m surprised about the move towards re-opening MinerOne - the direction of the company seems to be changing.
Thank you Beamer for the link.
The Ant Group's IPO takes place on 5 November - which will be the world's largest share offering expecting to raise $34.5 billion. Alipay is operated by the Ant Group. Unsure of the implications, if any, for MBO but thought it was interesting to read.
In my biased opinion a special dividend should be paid to shareholders should CLP win the Piedmont Region court case. The rest would allow CLP to pay its debts.
The new investments are interesting but it could take many years for any real value to be returned to shareholders. In the absence of CLP specialising in one business area I think it should become a cash shell and allow another company to rto into it. These suggestions are what I thought were the Bod’s intentions but maybe I’m wrong.
News about the court hearings is outstanding. Interim results are also due around this time (there may be a delay because of the pandemic).
Looks like an RNS is on it's way...
Why also sell such a large amount below the par value of the share which is 0.25p?
