The effects of this long lockdown are now being seen and on top of that the vaccines too... hospitalisations are expect to 'Plumet' by the end of the month. Late March might be pushing it...

We had a poster on here laying out the possible scenarios with the hope of scenario 2 applying to SNG, i.e full enrolment by early to mid March. That's not happening is it?

I guess you have to ask yourself this question... If AZN or GSK were in the identical position to what we are in now, same stage, same data, same circumstances etc would they be overlooked or would they be given emergency approval? I don't know the answer but if it's the latter then the MHRA are not doing everything in their power to save lives...

SNG have gone about their business in the most professional way possible. They moved quickly to get the phase 2 away, have great data to hand and accepted this wasn't enough for emergency approval last Autumn. Since then they've set up a phase 3 in such a way to get the best data possible from as diverse a subset of patients as possible, have data at hand from the At Home trial and will soon be getting even more valuable data from the Activ 2 trial.

I've given the regulatory bodies the benefit of the doubt up to now and viewed the 'Oxford closed-shop' as a conspiracy but if they fail to consider an EUA soon in light of the circumstances it's hard to come to any conclusion other than to accept that the conspiracy is valid.

Let's not forget how proud Horby was for Recovery's discovery that plasma was a colossal failure - I'm sure soon we'll be hearing how proud they are to discover that the current monoclonal antibody ****tails are not very effective!
