I don't understand the science at all but it's very possible that with the fifteen years of research, the p2 data, the known research on interferons and covid and now this discovery, he is so confident in sng001 proving effective against covid that he's willing to put his reputation on the line and speak in this categorical manner.

Yeah true, plus that knighthood certainly stands for something. It's important to distinguish whether there is there more to his recent language though, is he saying it because he has more evidence now i.e observing the At Home trial or is he saying it based on strong p2 data and the science around interferons and recent ace 2 short form discovery?

And it's Holgate that's gone on the attack with two news articles and a sky news interview. Is this a strategic decision or just the way he talks - after all we never heard much from him in the past...

Just to add to your prediction Doc... the comments we saw from the medics all indicated a late January/early February start date and Holgate hinted of our inclusion in the Sky News interview weeks ago. I imagine the company and those involved in Activ 2 have known about it for ages now but as it was more or less leaked synairgen decided to drop the rns earlier than planned. If the timetable we expected is met it could therefore be tomorrow.

It's hard not to laugh reading about the polite request and week's notice given to the Egham residents and then seeing the Guardian headline - 'Thousands in England to be tested in sprint to halt South African variant'

I disagree entirely with Parsley, the company never have and never ever will tactically release rns's to artificially pump the share price. The reason we're down here is because we're still just a little too far away from any meaningful results and so there is no race to get in yet but we are getting closer to crunch time by the day. It appears the shares are in short supply (as seen by the willingness to take 400k shares in one fell swoop) and we might just be one bit of good news away from this really shifting.

A quick glance at cytodyn - it looks like they had great phase 2 results for their Mabs drug leronlimab, got FDA fast track like us for a phase 3 but with only 195 patients, then confirmed last patient enrolled in August. Since then there has been no results readout but they have been granted an open label extension to their phase 3 recently...

Obviously that's a shallow analysis but on the surface it looks like no approval as of yet for another monoclonal antibody and they've jumped from 580m mcap to 4b! SNG is going to the moon!

Nah I'm joking, I really really hope that the announcement is met with all the fanfare the US are so renowned for!
