This is a part of the story I am still a little unsure of, could one of you explain what sort of tenders you are hoping BMN wins and when exactly these would be? Are you hoping for contract awards for both Enerox and BE? Many thanks.

I spat my tea out when I read through the posts today, genuinely hilarious timeline:

Yet strangely their share price is tanking - in fact we're about the only one in the blue today, perhaps there's a realisation that money in the bank means a lot more than potential cash generation in such uncertain times?

Back in January the majority of ncyt holders believed novacyt were well placed to have a real stab at transforming into a midcap company - something in the £1.5b - £2.5b region. We knew the capital/cash was there to no longer need to raise funds from shareholders and we knew we would be well placed to play a major role in the future diagnostics industry being built. I remember in late January starting to question the risk/reward as the mcap creeped up towards £1b but on the most part stuck with the company as I did believe that midcap valuation was very achievable.

We aren't in exactly the same position as we were then but if we come out favourably following this dispute then theoretically those who previously believed this could become a midcap company should harbour that same belief - except adding/buying now has considerably better upside if that were to be achieved - around 700% rise to midcap compared with 200% earlier in the year.

We are all using aliases VanV, I don't know if you are male, female, 65, 19, gay, straight, asexual, Roman Catholic, Buddhist, Hindu, Sikh. I assume the majority of what people share on here is true but if folk change up their age or have multiple accounts it doesn't make much difference to me as I'm not taking anything said as gospel - nor should anyone else.

Now if I found out my girlfriend was making multiple accounts online and was trolling on forums that would be more immediately concerning to me, but not faceless fellow PIs.

I'm not invested here for covid though, I firmly believe they can build the company into a leading international diagnostics company even if revenue from covid eventually dwindles to nothing...

What you're ignoring is the time spent attempting to create a novel vaccine for a novel virus, that is why we are in the situation why we (the UK) have not yet finished vaccinating the population at a time when boosters are soon going to be needed. In the future it won't be quite the same situation.

Having said that there is no way the entire global population are going to be vaccinated every year, or even every two years so testing will continue to be needed indefinitely one would think.

Good few weeks more sideways movement I reckon but it's certainly held up well enough over the past three weeks to justify that statement Giovs.

I would hazard a guess that you trade based on little more than a feeling of what's going to happen rather than a trading system/L2/years of experience and so each trade is more or less just a flutter.

In between my long term holds I keep a small pot free to try to make a few quid here and there trading but it wouldn't offer much to the board if I shared with them every tenner I made!

Makes those large sells on the bell yesterday at 14.55p seem even more odd now. Everyone has their reasons I know but some trades like that I'll never understand.

I guess what I mean is these are all aliases/pseudonyms to start with, we aren't representing ourselves as such. My name isn't Harchris, I assume you aren't Mr RMB Invest etc so as long as Porky isn't trading ncyt and using other accounts to trash this investment when he's out and Porky when he's in then it doesn't matter to me whether or not he supports novacyt on one account or fifty.

Larky what's worth remembering is every 1% increase in FeV is something like a 5-7 percent increase in profit, adds up pretty quickly when you think V prices are rising a good few % a week across the board!

Isn't the $35 break even quite far off though? I thought factoring in the 35 day expansion $30.5 was about breakevern but going forward from now it will be closer to $25?

Someone said in the last 6 months ODX are up 5% and NCYT are down 70%. How can that be true? NCYT sell their products, ODX not do much. Can’t be true??

We are down 60% in that period yes but for a bit more context we were up about 5500% the 9 months prior compared with their 500%...

My guess is that there will be an extra stage to the roadmap before full reopening and that is now being priced in - if so probably still a little further to fall potentially but it will quickly bounce back. In truth it won't make any difference to the business if nightclubs don't open on June 21st and a few other measures are kept in place for three or four weeks longer...
