What's the El Salvador rumour?

Anyone saying bitcoin could do without the likes of Elon Musk is deluded. The problem is not Elon Musk, it's that there aren't enough Elon Musk's committing serious money to bitcoin. If you had Zuckerberg, Bezos etc dipping their toes in there would be less reaction to every tweet Elon makes.

It's more important that high profile figures/investors/companies enter at different stages to signify that there is still ample growth from here otherwise it sends a message that the big money was made previously. This happened earlier in the year imo. Musk/Telsa entered around $34k and it acted as a signal that '$34k was still early' and BTC continued north to $64k. I believe that when bitcoin traded sideways for months between ~ $52k and $62k if the rumours of Walmart, Apple etc entering the space had materialised, plus another big purchase from Tesla at say $60k then bitcoin would have broken $100k by now.

Sorry, I did misread that comment from Nick the other day, he said he was now under 3% not that he was just under 3% (which we all knew anyway). That was my point, it's none of anyone's business unless they freely want to share.

I understand why faramog replied in that way as it is a bit of a stupid question - most people won't have an exit strategy unless they have an enormous holding, they will instead continually review their investment as time goes by. And if they did have an exit strategy they aren't going to share it with you publicly.

Having said that I believe this is one of those rare cases where members of the BB and on twitter (#bmn) do hold quite a substantial amount of the company and probably an even larger amount now the share price has fallen against an improving backdrop and fundamentals. I for example hold 400k shares, my biggest holding by some margin and will be potentially building on that as I expect a steady flow of positive news over the next few months coupled with an even higher V price.

As for how many shares others hold, many on here definitely hold multiples of what I have, in the millions and possibly even tens of millions? Well, one member NickD certainly does as he holds just under 3% of the company...

I disagree with many of the comments here. NEX has risen sharply a number of times in the past 12 months, most drastically following the pfizer vaccine news, then in Jan/Feb following the success of the vaccine rollout.

The business is sound, has a lot of cash on the balance sheet, is picking up business and is in great shape. In my opinion once there is a clear sign that the economy will be opening up (hopefully that comes on 14th June but if not, later) then the share price will go on one more major rally back to 400p.

I strongly believe that all this brilliant research will back up and support any future (and likely) spike in the share price and encourage investors/traders to continue buying all the way up, at 20p, 25p, 30p etc

Second half of the year is where it's at - exciting times ahead of us!

No green light would be seen as a backwards step and probably hit sentiment in the short term and possibly a slighter bigger share price drop. Still it would only be temporary though so I'm not too concerned if I buy now and it goes that way.

This will continue in the trading range until either we get the greenlight for June 21st and the signs of a swift return to normality are restrictions are brought back in and the share price slumps. I'm betting on the former so am happy to buy more at this price...

As a neutral observer I would say yes, potentially. Will possibly go a little low first but the company has a lot of upside from here.

We are all entitled to an opinion. My opinion is that Graham's made too many mistakes recently and has too many experienced people around him not to get the next steps right this time.

I have no idea where the share price will be in a year's time from now but I do definitely think it will be a good bit higher come the start of July.

Could we keep a harmonious board whilst the share price is doing its thing? I know it's unlikely to make a difference to the share price but for those looking in it's surely better to be viewing all the amazing research rather than the name calling and childish arguing?

I suppose if you had bought in last year at under a quid and saw your wealth appreciate many times over you might have more of a soft spot for Graham.

You have a right to air your disappointment and others have the right to respond - stop making a big deal of it, you sound extremely insecure.

It's common for PIs to think that way, that's why they so often sell at the bottom and buy near the top. If you are one of those people who are having doubts and concerns it's better to just sell and move on unless there's any substance to those concerns beyond 'share price too low = suspicious.

Are there any laws on collusion within the crypto space? For example is Michael Saylor able to speak to the Winklevoss', Tesla, other prominent bitcoin advocates and all agree that they'll continue to stake build over say the next week and all announce one after another of their purchases to kickstart momentum? It's certainly the sort of thing I'd be trying to do if I was in a powerful position like they are (if it's legal).

Agree Herdie it's interesting watching it, very stable right now. Retail is not going to drive the move back towards all time highs so if it's going to happen then institutions need to turn bullish, both new institutions dipping their toes in and the likes of Saylor and Musk making statement buys.

I note for example that Microstrategy bought $15 million at $55k on May 13th and then on May 18th they bought another $10 million at $44k per bitcoin but seem to have slowed down on their buying despite the price of bitcoin being much cheaper now?
