Just you wait, PI100 or someone else will quickly remind us of the director buys in 2020 as proof that it means nothing...
Joking aside yes this is very different. The new board have been together for six months now, they've taken stock of the situation and decided that ~£2.20 is a steal, 65% below the LTIP baseline price. It's not hard to see why though is it? Even in the worst case scenario, let's say we soon discover that DA and the mgmt team are lacking the imagination, the capabilities necessary to maximise this opportunity and rapidly transform the company into a dynamic billion pound diagnostics business... well we're still a profitable enterprise with £100m in the coffers, possibly rising soon to £150m so how much are we likely to lose long term from here, from an mcap of £135m? Very little I would vouch.
Now take the opposite, now imagination everything starts to fall into place and DA quickly gets the market excited again. That we have made in roads in cancer detection, in POC testing, that we are forging a partnership with biosynex...
Well I've added 8k shares today, i'm more than happy with the price this retrace has offered up.
