I'd have raised at least prior to the NASB sale, perhaps £100m at a £400m valuation (25% new shares) and then been in a slightly stronger position to negotiate from. But hey it's done now and they've lost the equity route as a reasonable option.

Jk actually i agree with that, all seems to be on track re the cashew business so my comments weren't fair. I do have a sneaky feeling they'll row back from this EBITDA positive claim later this year but it's merely a sneaky feeling so means nothing to anyone else.

I still think the margin for error here is so, so tight that i'd like to see the palm oil business generating significant cash rather than what seems like some backwards steps recently.

There is no question that we've had a major holder sell out, the question is who? That could be quite telling once we get the TR1...

Hopefully it's a large holder that's either distressed or simply lost faith and is expecting more operational failure, rather than it being borne of any inside info.

Of course there's no cash raise after the NA sale, there would have been without it.

Does that not suggest even more so that there's some significant loading going on, seeing as such a large sell was so easily absorbed and the share price marches north?

It will be interesting to see if your selling out at 31p looks like egg on face Wyn or shrewd, come a few months time.

If you do happen to buy back in could you do us a favour and actually tell us when you do it, rather than suddenly mention a buy when it's already well up? As you post so much commentary it'll be fun to at least see if you're a successful trader or not!

How does he have this information? The two holders with 3.1% are in the public domain updated shareholder list, they have to report over 3%. I imagine he just messaged the company to confirm that that is the case?

We literally just had an IMC where all the financing questions were asked so you aren’t going to get another update within a few days.

That’s about how I feel too. The fact that they haven’t raised over all this time despite some low gold pours is itself a positive, it shows just how low all in costs must be. However these higher grades and production numbers absolutely have to happen and soon or we’re on a road to nowhere.

Argo is probably halting operations as we speak as they are likely out of money so it's no surprise they are floundering.

It's a poor update when you consider that May last year was a big drop on May 2023, so there's a clear downtrend here.

Another 175k spent on cashew equipment with finances already incredibly tight isn't great news either. The balance sheet must be in a state right now and i'm not sure how they get out of it because significant profitability doesn't look close.

Well i'm with you Tom on the most prospective licences in Zambia part. And in the hopeful of Anglo discovering a major copper/ nickel / cobalt deposit. And with the how NvS has handled these assets and managed the company but that's why i'm accumulating at 1.1p, I think the former will win out and NvS and co will ride the Anglo wave. And execute all their options and warrants and make a killing themselves without having to do anything.

Best to try join in on those gains as much as possible.

Well if Alastair truly believed that i'm sure he'd have sold his large holding over this past year since being ousted, yet he appears to still be holding all of them.

Well he said those comments at £1.30 a share almost two years ago so perhaps was right then. Different story today.
