The final results will be almost entirely backwards looking, although if accounts are signed off as a going concern without any further funding that's a hell of an endorsement. It means auditors will have seen sufficient evidence that the gold loan can be managed and that GRL can self fund going forward through its own internal cash generation.

They may as well just claim to become a bitcoin treasury company. A final roll of the dice to stave off insolvency.

If not I imagine next RNS might be to inform market that they are unwinding operations.

I don't think it's the case when it comes to small cap mining, certainly not as a medium term trade/investment. Long commodity bear markets wipe out almost all small caps in that space and long commodity bull markets see almost all companies make good returns. Almost all, that is.

With this example we're betting on a management team to finally turn things around after years and years of mis steps and teething issues, that's different to expecting them to hit the ground running from the off. The latter requires real talent and ability, the former doesn't.

You keep claiming this is going to zero so why do you care about daily penny drops? Surely just come back on here when it’s 10p if you have such conviction ?

I think the most negative amongst this bb seem to miss a most important point, that the most optimistic amongst us aren’t all happy clappy in our praise for Emma, many of us don’t rate this management team at all in fact… what we do recognise though is there’s such a low bar for GRL to succeed in such times. We are talking such minimal operational improvement, with gold at $3400/oz, to become profitable. And any modest improvement to even such average production of say 700 ounces a month and GRL becomes a cash cow instantly.

Coming back to the buyback discussion... what I think we can safely say is that Mobico has the cash to start an aggressive buyback option if the valuation gets to an obscenely low level. I'm not sure we're quite there at ~£150m but if it goes lower there would come a point, effectively putting a floor on this not too far below where we are now.

It has enough cash on hand to take a ton of shares off the market below 30p and then at a later date place shares at say 50p+.

There’s still a belief that Avacta’s far more targeted approach will mean greater concentrations in the TME with fewer side effects. That won’t have changed. However failure here would be game over so makes logical sense to go after the indication with even greater chance of being approved.

It’s sensible risk management that’s all as nothing is an absolute certainty.

No I absolutely won't. I've said for two to three months now that they have from June through H2 to see a significant step change in production, without heavy dilution in the process, to turn this around. Otherwise the possibility of big returns evaporates with administration a possibility.

The thing is Jack/Corrumpo/wasarunner GRL remains a going concern and appears to be able to continue ticking along even with such gross underachievement because the gold backdrop is so damn strong. And continues to be. And is improving still if anything.

This means that despite all you saying being true historically there’s still more and more time for the initiatives of the past twelve months to start bearing fruit.

Comms started improving when operations began improving and then they went silent again. The issue is less comms and more operational stagnation.
