Well let's hope they drilled well into January and it's informative and helps them zone in on what they are looking for - anything that increases the chances of a major discovery this year is a positive.

Well it really depends on the narrative they are able to sell - if it was made crystal clear that management were focused on securing licence deals with 1b data in hand then any amount raised that (i) increased runway well into 2026 and (ii) covered a couple of Heights payments, would be enough for many to buy in/add.

Personally i'd prefer less dilution at such depressed share price but views differ.

The big positive that I’ve been highlighting for about a month now but even more so very recently is that the small cap backdrop seems to have drastically shifted, discounts for equity raises are getting smaller and smaller and impact is also changing.

Even more examples this week where shares immediately trading 20% and above their subscription price.

Could see a raise here around current level with SP appreciating significantly.

If they can get the company cheap (say 60p/£360m) then yes they would take on the debt , its debt that’s manageable with such profitably from Alsa.

I really don’t think it’s that Wyn, I think others just find it exhausting to follow. Imagine there were ten of you on here sharing a narrative based on either daily buying or selling, it would make it totally unreadable. That’s what we get at times and it just makes the bb chaotic.

Balance is good but a switching of narrative on an almost daily basis isn’t. I assume most traders of Avacta keep their trading discussion to specific trading platforms.

I suppose the accounts were so very nearly complete on time but to make absolutely sure they gave themselves one extra day.

Yes but the ground is too wet for drilling in April, it needs time to dry out, so that's when they get back on-site and May (late May usually) is when drilling commences.

It's called a wet season, from December to May.

They've been back on-site for a while as many PIs know and likely already drilling but when ARCM receive the approved drilling plan is still unknown. I think in the next week or so.

Honestly this is such utter nonsense. Yes bad news is often suddenly dropped on the market on a Friday but it's also usually late in the day on Friday and never shared days in advance, or agreed with a bloody auditor!

Does anyone else on this bb actually think there's been a discussion where management have come to the conclusion that June 6th, Friday, would be the best day to bury the supposed bad news?!

Plural, institutions and a private family office. That means hundreds of people connected know about it, always going to be some forward selling.

I guess the truth was that whilst HEX were funded to summer production funding was possibly a tad tight and any missteps / teething issues (which are always possible) could well cause a problem. Instead these funds protect against that from now whilst sentiment is high and accelerates growth at the same time, no longer needing to wait for revenues to flow through the business before cracking on with the next production well.

In this improving market I don't think the share price will see that 16p placing price.

That’s true, definitely will be split with debt but cash generation is so high going forward I would imagine they could technically build Douta from internal funds alone, it’s just a choice not to, an obvious one at that. A good portion of the cash is heading back shareholders’ way via dividends and exploration is being ramped up across projects and geographies.

$25m cash build up per quarter from q2 is such a rare thing to see on AIM though, we should acknowledge that.

I’d be much happier if they had got the subscription away closer to the current market price (as plenty of other AIM companies are currently) but it does derisk the near term substantially and fast tracks growth so overall fine with it.

One has to wonder how close it got to having to issue an RNS yesterday… would they have stayed silent if it kept falling from 0.45p to 0.4p to 0.35p? If so what does that mean, that there is a reason for the drop.

I’m taking a balanced view here and staying optimistic but not naive. Heavily invested but didn’t add on yesterday’s drop as too much of a gamble til we get news.

TR1s are the obligation of the company buying or selling to file, not the publicly listed company so technically yes Devenport should have been issuing along the way. Having said that most companies have a bit of a lag in reporting and since they dumped so much over such a short period (about three weeks) I’m not surprised they just went ahead and filed once sell off was complete.

Either way in this instance GRL wasn’t at fault.

It’s central Queensland, on the coast and actually bang on the Tropic of Capricorn I believe so I’d imagine it’s borderline tropical weather and hence some sort of wet season… but nothing like northern Queensland. They should be able to operate through most of the summer wet season.

Well it hasn't started rising because four or five of us have wrote positive comments on here, it's risen due to confidence following a number of positive signals (director purchases, TR1, solid enough Q1).

It won't go up in a straight line, especially with shorts still in play, but I do think we're back on an uptrend towards 40p over the coming weeks/months.

Well I was warned by a more experienced mining analyst not to expect too much from the first year of exploration, which turned out to be the case. It also makes logical sense to now split the committed spend somewhat evenly over the next two years rather than have two soft years and one all out. Then there’s NvS saying as much to shareholders that asked in private communications so a few reasons why I think this year won’t be the same as last year’s largely preparatory work.

This sort of thing is never an exact science but the share price action has me wondering if some good a heads up on a .6p placing. Sell off started much higher and as soon as it went below (which would be the last of the panic sellers) it was bought straight back up.

Wouldn’t be the end of the world if it’s small, goes somewhat towards reducing debt and there’s still hope of a big step change in ounces in H2.
