@napthman1 - things certainly look positive for UFO going forward I'm just not expecting the action for a few more weeks, but I'm in no hurry for something as good as this I'm happy to wait.... and if things do get going in the next few days well I'm loaded up already.

well precious metals are making the effort this evening but I still suspect there is one more leg down over the next few weeks before we properly break upwards in a meaningful way... but it is only a matter of time.

As others have said future valuations are an imprecise science with many factors to consider, it is easy to look at maximum possible cases and come up with some very high numbers, however there is still a long road to travel between having numbers on paper and actually having ore on a slow boat to china and so it is much safer to work on the assumption that it may still be a while before we see a move in share price and that it may not be as extreme as some would like.

I will stand by statement that there is still an outside chance that with time we may exceed the billion pound mkt cap, but I'm not expecting any significant move in SP until the second half of 2021 and I'm certainly not counting on a billion pound mkt cap ... in the short term I think simply getting back to 3p and around £100m mkt cap is quite ambitious.

@smiller - Turbo doesn't allow directly for the costs of extraction/shipping but a 75% reduction for a JV might be said to include extraction costs with an equal split of profit margins (50% expense plus 25% each party for profit) - within the overall accuracy of such loose speculation it's all a bit hit and miss anyway gauging future share prices .

As I say I don't place too much faith in charts and I'm no technical analyst, but I'm thinking one more dip down to $24-$26/oz and back up in the next few weeks but not breaking $30/oz until somewhere between July and Sept.... so more or less similar to you own views by the sound of it.

Basel III may well have a big impact where of course the big question is will it comes to pass or will all the petitioning and lobbying see things delayed/postponed/cancelled?

@ EWT98 - I'm not one for charts but I'm kind of reckoning on somewhere between July and Sept before silver makes a meaningful break out, though I wouldn't be surprised to see at least one more small move down and back up over the next month or so.

@ 944 Turbo - Don't know about the UFO board bit I did notice the other day on another board that there was a 12hr gap between one of my posts being submitted and actually showing up, along with a whole host of other delayed posts, but once the did show up they all had the accurate timestamp from the previous day.

Wishbone has been one of my bugbears, I thought about buying in at sub2p and settled upon UFO instead and ever since I keep looking back at WSBN and thinking I'm not going to buy whilst it's on a run as I'll get spiked, I'll wait until it levels off a bit and re-evaluate things.

I came close to giving in when WSBN dipped back a little to about 10p , paused too long and it's off again

@silverhorse - having first bought in at about a tenth of penny I'm in good profit already, and it is by far and away the biggest equity holding in my portfolio in a manner I can only justify to myself by viewing the company as a mini-diversified portfolio in its own right... So that could be taken as a sign of my massive (over?) confidence.

However I try not to put timelines upon my expectations as they invariably come and go without delivering, and so I'll just hold and wait this out and see where we end up in the future... I'm in no rush.

@pickuzawinnah - thanks for the kind words.

If I posted here my "hopes" for UFO I could give silverhorse and even gooingtomoonufo a run for their money in terms of wild over confidence, but life teaches you that the markets aren't there to give you what you want, and if not careful they'll give you a good spanking. As such I choose my investments based upon my hopes but choose entry points/prices based upon research and grounded reality and then wait for things to happen before changing any views.

Like most here I strongly believe UFO will be a life changing investment... but until it changes my life I'll treat it in the same cautious manner I treat all my investments where I know things rarely happen as quickly as most investor sentiment would predict.

Whilst it is fun to ponder over the ifs, buts and maybes of how this may all progress, the truth is none of us know, and until the site(s) are drilled at least a bit more extensively to accurately define what and how much is down there none of it will be coming out of the ground.

I do however think we can trust that Bill has a plan and in all likelihood has probably already talked it through in principle with any other potential partners he may see as part of that plan. Those talks will then presumably shape his future actions in terms of how much more drilling is done before some or all of the iron starts getting mined and how that mining is financed. However, which ever way we look at it it is difficult to imagine a circumstance under which UFO doesn't benefit greatly.

Patience will reveal all and hopefully fatten our wallets.

I've posted here on more than on occasions how nobody does their own credibility any favours by baiting others with pointless or intentionally confrontational or derogatory posts, equally there is nothing to be gained by responding in kind and stooping to petty name calling and insults.

many posts here are little more than idle chat which is fair enough... few of us actually have any new facts to contribute to a discussion beyond our own personal opinions (which some seem to mistake for facts), there are one or two who appear on this board whose posts I see no positive value in at all, and plenty more who devalue valid points of opinion by the way they choose to express them.

I'll leave it to others to decide for themselves where they fall in that range... I'm not here to judge I simply know who I expect to make a valuable contribution and who I expect to hear rubbish from.

@max "one step at a time" - exactly - over the shorter term I will maintain my usually cautious tone and still wouldn't expect to see much action in our share price or the sector as a whole until the second half of 2021. However for the patient with a horizon that spans several years I do think this could be one hell of a profitable ride.

@944 Turbo - yesterday our lovable but crazy friend goingtomoonufo suggested a share price of a £1... it was having run similar numbers to you that prompted me to respond that whilst "possible" it might not be best to plan on it actually happening.

Our increased ownership of Hammersley nudges things further in that direction. I still maintain we would be well advised not to assume or expect a share price anywhere near £1, but the maths does show how it might happen, and once we add in the prospects for some crazy silver action a few years down the road and well... who knows?

@smiller - Bill is doing what he does best which is ignoring the day to day trivia of small movements in the share price and looking at the bigger picture and just getting on with the work of building the long term prospects for UFO.

Increasing UFO's holdings in Hammersley was just one of many things he's mentioned in passing over the last year, but because he doesn't make a big song and dance about it at the time we are all pleasantly surprised when these things come to pass.

There are some juniors I'm invested in I like to hear more regular news from just to reassure myself, with UFO I'm happy to trust that the BOD are getting on with the job even if we aren't hearing about it.

well it is difficult to see how this can be taken as anything other than good news in the long run, for as others have said we wouldn't go to this trouble if we didn't believe the iron ore was worth having... whether it will have any immediate impact on the share price is another thing all together.

whilst I'm obviously aware of where the quote comes from for some reason it immediately reminded me of one of my own father's quotes;

" the water can't be deep it only comes half way up the side of that duck!" - somehow seems to sum-up the current global debt situation.

on a day when almost everything is a sea of red it is nice to see UFO buck the trend, though there's nothing to suggest the move up is anything more than the normal noise/volatility of daily trading .
