RE: Next 2 years ?2 Jun 2021 10:29
As others have said, at this stage we are just estimating and dealing with probabilities where we can come up with anywhere between very little and an awful lot.
At this stage the amount and quality of ore isn't known though we have initial estimates which may need revising based upon further drill results.
We don't know what price the iron ore will sell at at the point it is coming out of the ground, we can only estimate based upon current prices and current trends
We don't know what sort of deal will be done to help us get the ore out of the ground and if it will we a JV with a major or we try manage things our selves through sub contractors.... this may have a huge impact upon the upfront costs we have to bear and the percentage of profit we get to keep. It may also have a massive impact upon how long it takes to mine all this ore.
About the only thing we can say for sure is that ore in the ground is worth far less to a share price than ore on a slow boat to China, and as such whilst the "high" estimates being discussed may possibly be achievable at the time we are actively mining, I would assume in the near term that we should be working on a far smaller contribution to our share price.
I'm still of the opinion that long term UFO has the "potential" to become a billion dollar business, but in the short term I'll just watch and see where things go, where as I've said several time before I'm expecting the SP to remain range bound fluctuating up and down a little from where we are until at least the second half of 2020.
