The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
It explains all of the attacks on the company and personal attacks of posters on forums such as these if he is. What an awful position to be in knowing that this could be sold for £1.05 (cheap) - £4.45 (a good deal for the buyer) a share. Poor guy, I really feel for him having such a large potential loss so late in life. I’ll subscribe so as to help him out.
Yes Sean they did, I think there was a surplus of a billion left from their debt restructuring. They have also sold their assets in Australia but to date I don’t believe they have provided the sale price although I believe they paid circa 6 billion for the assets originally
And off he went.
Full of praise for himself and backing a valuation funded by the company he is invested on when it suits him but not able to accept that long term holders here may have similar thoughts about shares that they hold. Interesting that he only posted about EUA for the first time today. I would say more jealous than a troll
Sorry Bluerill but you are wrong to support that valuation, this is from the companies own investment broker and is at least twice the current mcap. There is no way that you can actually expect the share price to increase by that magnitude. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Have a good evening
Thank you Bluerill for your first Eurasia Mining post and a reminder of how negotiations work.
The issue here is that they aren’t negotiating based on the current or previous share price and instead their desired acquisition of a large source of valuable PGM’s. Slightly less valuable than pre Covid -19 but as at today more valuable than late December, the share price rose quickly from October 2019 until suspension based on the prices then of PGM’s.
Hi James
I think that an RNS will have to be issued as you say, they need to advise shareholders of the delay. I don’t believe that it makes any difference if it’s 6.25pm on Tuesday 30th June or 7am on the 15th June to be honest, if they need a delay and 30th June is the deadline then 30th June is the deadline.
I don’t want to speculate that they may want to advise of numerous things within the same RNS and be accused of ramping up the stock but that might be a reason for telling us at the tail end of the deadline.
Hi Suttie,
Mostly correct there, great observation but isn’t the point of a forum to discuss things, while we have been suspended it’s quite useful to pop in here for some ideas of what might or might not be happening. No harm done if people want to do that. The harm comes from the aggressive stance taken by some uninvested who try to undermine and belittle some long term holders!
