No chance, the funds raised were to cover building systems to fill orders for delivery over the next 12-24 months, they have what they need, plenty of cash.

Do you see ITM, CWR, PPS, FCEL, BLDP, PLUG or BE raising after their MCaps went through the roof, NO, because like AFC they had already raised the funds they needed, and that is part of the reason they have gone up so much.

To this end, the Company is looking to raise gross proceeds of up to £30 million by means of the Fundraising.

Use of proceeds

The proceeds of the Fundraising will be used to support the continued development of the Company as it moves from the development phase of its products and technology into the manufacture and commercialisation of them.

In particular, the proceeds of the Fundraising will facilitate:

· the multiple manufacture of new H-PowerTM fuel cell systems capable of deployment in the next 12-24 months to meet projected customer demand - combined 20kW and 160kW units are expected to be built, including the 160kW H-PowerTM system for trialling by ACCIONA in 2021;

· the employment of new manufacturing, product engineers and commercial staff in support of the deployment of H-PowerTM systems into the Company's key target markets (electric vehicles and construction);

· the development and implementation of its strategy for scale up of manufacturing and system assembly;

· an acceleration in the development of the Company's AlkaMemTM anion exchange membrane with scale up of manufacture and validation testing pre commercial deployment; and

· the delivery of solid-state membrane fuel cell system (HydroX-Cell(S)TM) for published target release date in 2022 which the Directors expect will open new markets.

In addition, the Fundraising will also support and finance the warranties required in connection with systems deployed into commercial applications.

As I said, I believe they are filled buy orders, and I see no reason to think otherwise, especially with the price rising twice today despite the volume showing way more sold than bought. It shows that until you allow for the big orders being buys, then it all makes sense.

These are shown as sells because they are put through against the closing prices and they are well below those prices.

Filled orders are made up of multiple small trades added to one big trade. The price shown is then the average price of all the small trades added together. Filled orders are also done over many hours or even days, so the final price is usually very different from the prices at the time the final big trade is put through.

The whole idea is to confuse anyone trying to work out whether the trade is a buy or a sell.

My method is to look at the price and time the trade was reported to see if it was a normal trade at the current price, any changes in trades or prices either side of it that might indicate if it was a buy or sell at that price and time or a filled order, the chart movement before and after the trade was reported as normal buys and sells that big would usually move the price, if they don't then assume filled order.

The tree shakes give a lot away.

The volume that the MM's are working has been leaving around 1m to 1.5m more sold than bought, these shares appear to be worked to fill the big trades that are appearing after the close each day.

My verdict after looking at trade prices at these times, and the change in prices after them.

Yesterday I said "After seeing a lot of days with sideways trading recently, and a rise at the end today, I am wondering if they are nearly finished and ready to walk it up to the next level tomorrow, Friday or next Monday."

I guess it was today then! More of the same tomorrow maybe!

Nobody knows what will happen at £1.

There may be sellers because it could be see as a target or psychological barrier, but then again there may be big news that causes the move through £1 where any sells are soaked up.

I certainly wouldn't sell 'just because the price is £1', selling should be based on the MCap, the value of the whole of the company when compared to its news, expected news, expected sales, and in comparison to its peers MCap's.

Anyone selling just because it hit's £1 is either a short term trader, chartist, very naïve at investing and/or has no capacity to do or understand research and value a company. Long term holders are unlikely to sell up at £1, because they know there is way more upside ahead.

If you look at the buy volume vs sell volume at the start of the rise, top of the rise, the point of the latest drop and after the drop, it looks to me like another big tree shake to get it back closer to £500m MCap.

I'm sure also sure they'll be looking at selecting 100% renewable energy over dirty grid power for EV charging, just as they are doing with their factory power supplies, and thus producing carbon neutral vehicles. AFC can guarantee 100% renewable EV charging power, anywhere, not just in remote locations, but also where the grid is not offering it.

amnimad, nice find! that looks relevant to me, as they would be looking closely at AFC's CH2ARGE.

I'd say this part was relevant to AFC too, as one of the issues is lack of grid capacity in remote areas and even in some cities.

What is clear, however, is that since Volkswagen itself warned publicly last year of an “impending charging gap” in the market ramp-up of electromobility, the newly created business unit for coordinating activities will have an important role to play in closing this “charging gap.”

Read this and then imagine the UK with millions of EV's charging in a few years time. They need solutions. AFC have one of those solutions.

Volkswagen plans 750 EV charger installations in Germany for 2021

Volkswagen announced Dec. 29 that it plans to install nearly 750 new electric vehicle charging stations in 2021 as part of a planned expansion of its charging infrastructure in Germany.

The auto manufacturer has already installed over 1,200 charging stations at its ten German sites, and nearly 2,000 are expected to be in operation by the end of 2021. The 750 new installations planned for this year include the first High Power Charging stations that feature up to 300 kW of charging power.

While the charging points are installed at Volkswagen sites, a large share are publicly accessible and will be available for EV drivers even if they don’t work for Volkswagen. Additionally, all the power used in the chargers comes from renewable sources.

Skoda can charge at 100kW, all but the one cheapest model that is.

Skoda, due to it's low price and decent spec is a car I could see used in Taxi / UBER fleets, so potential there for sure, but not necessarily directly from VW, more likely direct to fleet of via ABB to fleet.

I wouldn't worry about that right now, as the UK and EU are currently working on a deal covering financial markets. They are hoping to get a deal competed in 2-3 months, so I would wait and see how that goes before selling any shares or moving them to a taxable account.

Audi Porsche = High power rapid charging 150kW or higher, Porsche takes the higher 800v

Scania/MAN trucks = huge batteries and thus need high power charging

But also, one of the things I note about the VW coverage is that it is all on the ID3 ID4 model. So that would be more to do with having many 100kW posts. Perhaps Tesla style charging parks with 10 or 20 100kW posts.
