I believe a lot of big ii's want to see a MCap of 'at least' £500m, others will require it, because if they buy a big chunk for a multi-billion pound fund they don't want to hold more than 3% of the company, also, trying to buy bug chunks of lower valued companies makes the price rise, and they are not allowed to affect share prices when buying (conflict of interest and open to market abuse), hence why they buy in protected orders which are made up of small (1,000, 5,000, 10,000, 25,000, 50,000, depending on the price) chunks which are added to a big trade that is only published after the market has closed.
The intraday chart and MCap at the close says it all ……. £513.87m
