I don't think Boris will go that route. Tier 5, 6, 7, keep it regional. Level 4 should be enough on its own if people stop being fu**tards.

killjoy, it does take a while for many to get out of the habits caused by driving a petrol/diesel, some never do. I have a mate that drives his like his old Golf GTi, for him it's all about the acceleration, he doesn't care about driving responsibly, for him it's enough not to be polluting or making climate change worse whilst still enjoying himself. He can afford to drive it inefficiently, but pays for renewable electric to run it.

Another bonus of regen braking is your brake pads last years. I've have my EV 2 years and it was 2 years old when I bought it. It still has the original brake pads and plenty of wear left on them. The caveat is that discs might rust if you never use the brakes, so the advice is to go somewhere quiet every couple of months, check there's nobody behind and do a couple of quick stops using the brakes, just to clean off the discs. This is also useful to test your brakes are still working OK in case you do need them in an emergency at some point.

Klunk, I doubt it, I think AFC would have built that one themselves, to ensure it was 100% perfect and built in time for the event.

ITM and CWR are both rising daily on no news since early December!! There is no reason why AFC should not do the same, once top slicing and profit taking subsides.

duke_arlington, I wondered about that! Surely for Extreme E they must have started or even finished building it already? He said the new factory fit out would take until March, but Extreme E starts in March!
