The Satellite view posted a few weeks back by 'Bullfrog' was updated overnight and clearly shows new grid lines appearing progressively, diagonally to the North East of those already seen a few weeks ago. There's also two very long clear single straight lines, one above all of the grids and one to the left of them.

I would say that based on the way the grids have been set up, with two squares diagonal to each other, then more squares added diagonal to those, that once the first two squares were finished a few weeks ago, the 3D survey was done from them, whilst the gridlines in other squares were cleared, with the 3D Survey then moving up a square at a time, with the long straight lines possibly used for one side of the 3D system (transmit or receive).

This means they could get processing the first two squares straight away, presumably this area targets the CH-1 well area, so they can ensure they are on time for spud date and can get the groundwork done ASAP.

Use the drop down calendar to see how many squares of grid lines they have today vs a few weeks back.

The official press release states:
"ABB E-mobility signs new global framework agreement (GFA) with Shell to supply its FULL PORTFOLIO of charging solutions" which clearly includes AFC based EV Chargers.

And from the news items:
"The main point of the deal is that ABB will provide an end-to-end portfolio of AC and DC charging stations for the Shell charging network on a global and high, but undisclosed scale."

"ABB's portfolio includes AC wallboxes (for home, work or retail installations) and DC fast chargers, like the Terra 360 with an output of 360 kW (for refueling stations, urban charging stations, retail parking and fleet applications)."

"We guess that the deal has a substantial value because Shell underlines its target of over 500,000 charging points (AC and DC) globally by 2025 and 2.5 million by 2030."

All of these are targets for AFC systems "refueling stations, urban charging stations, retail parking and fleet applications" as these are places where the grid will be pushed when it has to run multiple high power EV Chargers.

"500,000 charging points (AC and DC) globally by 2025 and 2.5 million by 2030" leaves a lot of scope for AFC based systems.

Bearing in mind this is Global, another major opportunity is where Shell will not want to use the local grid because it is too high a carbon emitter, where instead of that they could use AFC's Green Ammonia or Green Methanol solution for a low or zero Carbon system.

Ignoring the rule is futile.

It's still a long way off "He added that the process would take two to three years to complete, before negotiators arrive at the final investment decision (FID) and start mobilising the funds needed to implement the project." but anything like this is good for concentrating investors minds on Africa O&G opportunities, they may even come across the very undervalued AEX on their research journey!

Just need to correct myself there. The S Series can take Ammonia, the HFC cannot, but the rest stands, which is still plenty enough to say that the L Series is not dead.

How would chippy-on-shouldery know that I didn't go to the AGM? I might have been there, I might not, I've never announced it as that is and will always remain my secret, for the simple reason that there are far more lunatics out there than there are locked away for other people's safety.

Great news but IMVHO nothing to do with the sharp rise of AFC, CWR and ITM on Friday, because it is todays news, not Friday's news.

I still say the rises were down to hedge funds and their con men staff and mates that post on here closing their shorts, having made a big profit by pushing the price down from 40p recently.

Re the L Series, I concur!

Not only have AFC not announced that they will no longer produce the L Series (since ABB chose the S Series back in mid November 2021, 4.5 months ago), it is still listed as a product on the AFC Website.

Some may claim that buyers will only want the S Series, but that is not true, because AFC work with clients to give them the system they need, which does not involve creating vanity projects. If an L Series fits the bill, then L Series is the system that is specified in reply to client requirements.

Another thing is that nobody knows the cost per kW of the S Series vs the L Series, there is no guarantee that AFC will sell the S Series at a lower cost per kW TCO, when they also have an L Series to sell.

And the final nail in the coffin for those that want to kill off the L Series just to make out that AFC don't have a product until the S Series appears later this year, the overriding fact is that the L Series can run on Ammonia (very cheap Hydrogen), the S Series cannot, and the HFC cannot, so any client wanting to use Ammonia MUST choose the L Series.

Good to see a clearly advised "logjam in audit industry". PWC certainly have issues with staffing numbers, and this now appears to be across the industry, so no easy task to grab temp/contract staff to fill the void, hence the length of delay we have seen.

One month delay, we have just reached that with S4, following the postponement on 30 March. Possibly a good sign that results could be released next week.
