RE: 50+ sales lead3 May 2022 21:37
AFC stated in the results on 9 March "Contracted commercial agreements worth £5M (as at the time of this statement, including post year-end)." unless I'm very mistaken, this IS revenue.
As for the NEXT order, it could come from anywhere, as AFC have fingers in many pies.
Altaaqa were very close to signing their distribution agreement when the results RNS appeared on 9 March 2022. Their agreement signing could come with a big order.
"We are progressing well on discussions with Altaaqa for a dealership agreement across the Saudi and MENA regions based on their strong focus on transitioning away from fossil fuels in remote power. Altaaqa's current market leading multi gigawatt fossil-based power generator business across Saudi Arabia and surrounding regions fits very well with our aspirations for targeting the Gulf region for fuel cell deployment."
MOU RNS
"Altaaqa owns and operates one of the world's largest rental fleets of mobile diesel power modules, with 2GW of capacity within its portfolio. Altaaqa is aiming to complement its conventional diesel power modules offering with sustainable, zero emission alternatives for the Saudi Arabian and MENA regions."
To do that, it would need to order systems for itself, aside from the distribution part of the business.
Another big buyer I could see popping up soon is a UK genset hire company that will hire systems directly out to Mace etc. AFC and Mace have been courting said hire companies for a while now, so the agreements are only getting closer. Don't forget, it's not just a case of AFC leasing systems to a hire company, because they are working in partnership with MACE AND the hire companies, the agreement between hire company and Mace has to be sorted out at the same time, which adds complexity and time to the process of signing agreements.
Acciona should have test systems soon, so they will then be in a position to place a sizeable order.
Loads more potential buyers, 50+ was 11 months ago!, it's probably 100 or 150 by now.
