These small oil plays always plunge for no reason. $50 - $60 oil is ok with big oil so why can’t small oil do a better job as they are meant to. The market has no confidence in small oil with high debt like PMO.

May has to end austerity and borrow 500 billion to spend in 2019 alone in order to stay on as PM and get her brexit deal through. The market is so disconnected when it comes to valuation. Just look at SKY’s bid. My conclusion is that the market always push down quality companies in order to takeaway shares from retail investors while pushing up crap companies in order to dump shares.
ITV should be split in two......the studio business and TV broadcast business. Sell the studio then merge the TV arm with channel 4 to save on costs.

I guess VOD will gap lower on Monday and finish below 140p as I am expecting the brexit mess to get worse. They are waiting for the close of market before they start a civil war. Still a strong buy but very unfortunate to be distracted by pompous, spoilt, entitled, useless bastards.

Strong views like these could see the return of nationalism which didn’t work in Nazi Germany. It is crazy to even think that a tiny U.K can strangle E.U 27 into a better deal.

NR is the star of the week.........could be the star of the month or even quarter! Thank God I stayed away from banks and house builders. House builders will be smashed once new government stops HTB...........telecoms and utilities have to be safest sector along with consumer staples and healthcare.

Why don’t you stand for the position? Lots of people are complaining without putting their name as a candidate and offering a better alternative. The U.K would have been liquidated and the government sacked if it was a company.

They sucked people in here then slammed it today. We all knew the dumb people running this country won’t agree to the dumb deal. Just freaking stay in E.U and let the markets move on!

That would be a great option to raise funds to reduce debt and invest in latest tech. Pension / infrastructure funds would pay over the odds to buy solid assets that can yield 4% return annually bond-like safety.

I hope this company gets a sensible offer....... 225p is the minimum but nobody wants a national tv broadcast anymore. Liberty only bought a stake in order to get free contents.

The SP is way undervalued, VOD cutting divi to 10p a year would still leave us at a 200p fair value given that the divi is more sustainable plus reduction in debt. Now that divi is not going to be cut and NR is über sure......240p has to be fair value. Another super stable share has to be very cheap for me to sell out here.

Why are TV companies so dumb to lose ads to social media when they could lobby for same regulation as social media? Iceland ad can’t be shown on TV but it is on social media............this is so dumb, no wonder why TV ad revenue keep shrinking.
