Smart guy LC went all in on tobacco stocks and DEB when they were much higher.........the world can live without DEB and tobacco but god damn.............VOD is essential.

Calm down now, VOD should not even be trading at these levels anyway. Let’s celebrate once we get back above 200p. I expect income funds and pension funds to drop their guards now and pile into VOD. Tobacco and financials are very risky even though they offer value and income. I hope NR has been invited to one of their secrete dinners.....once he kisses the ring VOD will hit 250p next year. BT’s Gavin P failed to kiss the ring and got punished.

Never buy a share that you are not prepared to buy more of it. VOD is still a buy below 190p!

Step back from the news, think about why Darby fought hard to keep his job, baron letters and so on! Come on he could have notified the board his intention to stand down during the AGM struggle. Darby needed only one thing..........more free shares which was awarded instantly after winning the vote.

You are right with the retesting pre gap up level. BT did the same thing........plunged briefly. I will be placing some buy orders at 144p flat.

Not amazing.......he stole 3 years of some private investors who expected him to get a better deal than the one he turned down.

I don’t really care about today’s rise, I want to see weekly gains, monthly gains from here on to confirm uptrend. A divi paying company can crawl up slowly.......I don’t mind.

Darby is a thief and a coward, he turned down 65p for what? He is running away with so many free shares while SP is significantly lower than the offer he declined.

It is a 7.8 billion loss, give it a rest now. All to do with Fecking emerging markets! I still don’t get the hype of emerging markets, useless currency, dodgy governments that favour their own (racism), dumb competition (Ponzi backed by government), poor customers but lots of them! Time to get out of EM and focus on Eastern Europe.

NR is sleek, smooth and simple................not mincing words. There is growth in telecom sector, cost will be reduced, network will be monetised, revenue will grow, divi maintained but could even grow........if you ain’t buying this, just roll over!

Yes you get to buy 13 new shares for every 9 shares you already own. The deal is very generous considering how many restaurants have ran into trouble. TRG should be buying Wagamama for much less if they wanted too.......

Sky’s fair value was £10 / £11 but got a juicy offer of over £17........VOD’s fair value is 250p while any offer would have to be over 325p.

The useless guy advised people here to dump VOD for tobacco stock that keeps plunging. BATS has to start selling weed cigarettes in Canada and America for me to buy in.

My average is 175p after 4 buys.................no more spare cash to buy some more. Vod will be back above 220p within 2 years........40% return hopefully. My other holdings need to come good until then.
