Careful now, we aren’t allowed to call anybody FAT even they are on the max side. Problem with itv is that it is small minded and could do better if shows are made for global / European appeal. I think anybody on itv payroll must bring in adverts or get a sack.

Can you stop dreaming about £20 subscription fee for britbox. Netflix is £8 so britbox will be £5 or £8 max.......itv hub and iplayer will be killed off while the best shows must be exclusively shown on britbox before it goes to TV.

All you need to understand is that if you make it hard for foreign capital then it will flow somewhere else. Nothing wrong with Dubai, it has actually done a great job attracting both foreign investment and tourists.

Very nice that we closed well above that level, great buy - in for those bondholders. 1.2% - 1.5% interest on MCBs that got snapped up instantly is great for VOD. Cheap debt is good but cheap MCB is even better.......170p before x-div is my first target.

Europe needs to open up, that means relaxing regulations to allow foreign cash to flow in. T.May is going after foreign cash, Danske Bank is being investigated, Swedbank is facing money laundering........If the money creates real jobs and real estate then what’s the problem?

I thought love island, World Cup was great for TV. Also brexit is actually good too for news / debate shows and adverts. The only reason for the recent SP performance is our underwhelming CEO, she was hyped.......then she promised to tell us her master plan but it was bull $hit which hit the fan straight away even though results were solid.

Europe has a socialist / communist problem via the heavy handed regulators. Draghi needs to start another Q.E this time for secured corporate bonds only. EU can copy American model as we need cheaper credit card rates, lower VAT and harmonised corporation tax.
Eurozone / EU debt is nothing when compared to America.........Europe is bigger, add Russia then America will start crying.
Europe is too conservative with all their listed building crap while lawless places like Dubai keep attracting cash to build on hot sand that will sink one day.

Greece is like an EM so no real profits there except if VOD starts selling cheap holiday packages.

NigeCo, you seem to not know where great recurring revenues can be achieved. Think about Google, youtube, Facebook.........they have taken adverts from us. If Netflix and prime video start showing adverts then we are toast. Itv hub is lame and needs a Netflix style upgrade / renamed / scrapped.

I am happy to report to you fellow unlucky, miserable, preyed-upon private investors. We shall not return to our last low again so please hold on tight, add and don’t make the mistake of jumping out early.

Just my opinion guys, your capital is at risk and FCA don’t give a toss about private investors as we are down in the food chain order.

Forget cash, without huge debt the U.K and U.S.A would be war zones. The debt that allows countries to hand out benefits, fake jobs via quangos and pointless military in peacetime is really good compared to poor African and Asian countries with bad credit rating and zero welfare. VOD must indulge in more debt, I think we should go directly to ECB and borrow extra €30bn at 0.5% for 40 years for European domination.

£20 a month for just britbox? You must be dreaming so please wake up. For britbox to work, itv hub and iplayer would have to be killed off while britbox must also be available on Netflix / NowTV/ prime video as add-on. £5 is the maximum price per month as a stand-alone service while £3 per month is reasonable as add-on option on netflix, prime video & NowTv.

The current CEOs brain is tired old which is ok as she’s been working her brain hard during easyJet years. She would be a good chairwoman though.............currently useless as a CEO. Go to America and bring in under 40 media exec that wants to make a name for himself. Rich, entitled, tired, multi- board, fat cats don’t improve performance or turn a company around.

All the past growth was built on debt so the two top dogs know when to reduce exposure.......

Nice number “666”, the broker did that on purpose! Not a good sign given that the directors could have held for £8 - £10 if things were really rosy. Does that mean, Private investors bought those shares since it wasn’t placed with iis. Market always rise or stay flat if the shares were bought by iis.

Any decent high school leaver can do a better job than most directors of listed U.K. companies. The amount of salary and bonuses they get is criminal. They need to be as good as Steve jobs to get paid well. Personally, I believe the shorters pay CEOs money via bank loans / bonds to their company, the BOD then award themselves excessive pay and screw things up so bad that their friends can recoup their capital plus profit by shorting the shares.
