How much trading commissions & stamp duty are you willing to pay before making any money in this garbage company. They produce good shows then give it to bbc who are not a commercial company. It’s like working closely with Cuba / Venezuela and expecting to get rich.
Advertising revenue keeps going down because ........line of duty, Poldark, bodyguard were all on bbc instead of sky. I bet sky would pay us more for those shows.

The recent MCBs conversion price was favourably massaged lower already, we have to be within / above the conversion price for the next two years.

Pension funds are happy collecting divi as they don’t intend to sell VOD shares anyway, only retail traders worry about SP. Stop looking at the SP, focus on future potential and telecoms sector in general. The market knows how to rob retail traders.

He wants to do deals in the UK, has over $100 billion in cash..........The U.K is blessed with lazy / over compensated dumb CEOs, Buffett and his smart team must see huge scope to improve efficiency and profit. Same laziness and foolishness can be seen at the leadership of both ruling and opposition parties.

Vod must be on Buffett’s radar, divi savings alone will be huge along with execs cull and customer service automation.

That was a much improved post but you still don’t have a genuine opinion to share about VOD and the SP. I can promise you 300% SP increase within 5 years if I am the CEO. NR and his gang are only looking after themselves and planning for a lavish retirement.

Big businesses are useless and less accountable after signing up customers. All they want to do is take payments and back it up with great service. Execs and managers are overpaid but they live in a different planet..........report British Gas to Ofgem and the relevant ombudsman as you are a due a compensation. Most U.K companies are $hyte but can do better if not for lazy, clueless, entitled bastards running.

Issue new mega long dated euro bonds (1% - 2% coupon) to payoff expensive bonds since profit margin is thin in a tough regulatory / competitive market.
Massive job cuts in head office / call centres (allow switching / ending contracts via online or automated calls)
Buy a fintech / payment startup in Europe (the hype alone will help this zombie SP)
Launch VodaCoin crypto currency on a new / faster blockchain (SP will rocket 1000%)
Launch a peer-to-peer lending / online marketplace

I might need to go see NR and pitch to him.

Their debt ratio should never be allowed to be more than 20%, it’s all a great con.........confident management would raise cash from investors instead of slowly transferring equity to creditors.

Just like Tesla right, how many EVs are on the road compared to regular ones. Rich eco-friendly folks and hippies will go green while 95% of world population will still rely heavily on gas and nuclear..........CNA trades energy so it is not stuck with gas and can distribute green energy too. Please read CNA’s annual report to understand the company better.
Iain conn, ofgem and huge debt are the problems............Conn is behaving just like the Debenhams CEO (wants to hand the company to bondholders). Ofgem thinks energy business is corner shop retail and our older bonds are so freaking expensive........I bet conn couldn’t refinance those eye watering 8.5% coupons.

We should be above 150p by now, I am scared of the “sell in May” theory which this general market looks well set up for. Those who bought major indices or topped up heavily last December must be ok for the year now, I hope they rotate into dogs like VOD.

Love island would have helped if itv was listed on AIM but not gonna help on main market. Good revenue, cash profit and SVOD user number growth will be the key drivers here. ITV needs to position itself as a media / Ad company and replace the CEO with a global media / advertising exec.

No company in this Ponzi world is 100% safe, please let me know if there are any with absolutely zero debt and 100% shareholder equity. The main point of having shareholders is to skip debt for transfer of equity but that same equity is written off every time a company borrows money to pay huge salary and avoidable expenses.

Conn deserves a knighthood for his services to the financial markets (helping shortsellers).

Pension funds will only move in if business rates are slashed and Internet retailers take up retail space to compliment online sales. It makes no sense currently as the cost of rent / rates / service charge / utilities are just too great. Business can setup easily in a cold warehouse no need for baby changing facilities, funky lights, music....e.t.c! Poor Brits don’t want to pay extra for shopping at the mall...........sad & sorry situation.

Come on, some high street offices can move into retail malls and enjoy better car park. This gloom makes no sense, compared to Europe and America, U.K commercial property is good value but as Brits are lazy, businesses are failing because the execs overpay themselves and splash out on expenses using expensive loans.
Look at Debenhams bod, all crooks who got paid to screw the shareholders, most businesses closing is down to lazy culture and the huge business rates / rent / dubious service charges.

U.K. regulators need new staff and execs as the currents ones are slow, dumb and blind to globalisation. In order to survive and pay huge debt back, legacy companies (old school businesses) must merge to squeeze out more profit while reducing costs in order to keep up bond payments and invest for the future.

Vod can’t be that bad but one would expect them to do better, when execs are overpaid, performance will always suffer! Base salaries need to be slashed, bonuses and pension should be in shares only and linked to real cash profit and SP performance.

The only thing wrong in this world is “Entitlement”........we have dumb but connected people leading the world. Spoilt brats as CEOs is just bad, Conn is a sociopath along with others......pay is not linked to real performance and shares are worthless if a company can issue so much and load the company with debt just to pay huge salaries/bonuses!
Most U.K CEOs are useless and deserve just the minimum wage........no need to wear suits as they are not smart!
