I’m afraid the tech guy was just reading the script given to him. I had the same problem, got 95% of all my payments, cancelled with no exit fee and also got back my £60 connection fee. I really had a go at them that the dumb customer advisor hung up.....his managers had to make me an offer I couldn’t resist before I go to ofcom, ombudsman and dailymail.
It’s ok being manipulated on the stock market but I won’t take no $hit service when CEO is getting paid millions.
The bond / stock market is happy ploughing money on amazon, Facebook, Netflix but forget they all need fast and reliable connection. Telecoms sector has been forgotten because dinosaurs run them..........let’s see what 5G does with all the hype. 4g is only good for fast browsing and low quality videos.
