Really impressed with Disney, ITV chose to gamble on pure “Brit” content which is so niche and the focus market is even smaller. If britbox is not global then it will close within 2 years, the Dame will follow britbox into history.

I was expecting this drop after the update. Debt up to our neck, India worthless but huge back taxes still to be paid. Vodafone would have done better spending the India investment in America or even China.
Assuming average coupon on €48 billion debt is 3%, it would take us forever to reduce debt by 50% and still pay divi.

We as investors are always trying to put a value on the intangible assets and undervalued assets of listed companies, in Vod’s case the net debt is looking too much and would a while to get it below €20 billion.

I was scared the sp would dip below 160p yesterday as NR confirmed that India business is worth zero and the debt came in way over my €40 billion max target. India is favouring Indian companies and trying to clobber foreign companies but VOD should have sold since to the dumb guy that offered free calls and data.

The MMs are not happy today, I guess they know that we have figured their dumb pattern. Pure day trading 5% or more down then back up. Let’s see what they do tomorrow.......they might go for a big plunge say 50% drop to wipe out day traders.

It’s always good to touch on the negatives too even if you are super long. ITV needs an ad specialist drafted in from Facebook or google. This Dame has no clue about making money from adverts. When a company like itv takes money for brexit ad then blame brexit for not growing ad revenue then something is wrong. Rugby, love island, football and all their **** shows should have done it but nope, the Dame doesn’t get cosy enough with Ad agencies who control the flow of ad money.
Just go on YouTube, it is filled with $hit and loads of adverts......ITV must focus on ad revenue and take back market share.

Like I said yesterday, the Dame is under the influence of the MMs. She will never get another top job if she doesn’t follow the MMs directive. Brexit is so good for ITV, lots of brexit ad money, election ad money coming in again after 2017, dumb people can’t even let Lib Dem join debate! I think ITV is acting in a foolish way and not going after ad money instead wasting time and money on dumb “britbox”. So niche, so small minded........only for tiny amount of die hard Brits who think Corrie and dumb shows are world class. Surely ITV would be using the new found partnership to secure some football matches. It might not be the best fixtures but should be good enough for viewers. Bringing BT on board is just great as the new BT CEO is not a fan of going it alone when it comes to TV / Sport.
The Dame could have been super optimistic today if she wanted but hey who knows may be offer is in already.

Can we close above 165p? That would be nice..........no worries about debt level and Vodafone idea hit so 200p by Xmas?
