The Company is working to agree the terms of the joint venture and expects to announce the conclusion of the agreement shortly. In anticipation of agreeing this, MOS has agreed to subscribe for £250,000 in Gfinity's placing as announced on 14 March 2022.
Our £250K was a sweetener to get the deal done.
And we were diluted as a result.
That was 23 weeks ago.
At 6 weeks, with no update I stated it was unacceptable.
Perhaps at that point it was early to criticise, but 23 weeks?
I'd also stated when the Placing was announced that an excuse of "opportunity too good to miss" would be unacceptable.
But that's what they did.
The real kicker though is the extra dilution at 0.3 and 0.29 which quite possibly would have been at a higher price if we hadn't engaged with Gfin.
As things stand it looks like a bad move and I'd like to see a conclusion one way or other because I honestly feel its held us back.

It took 7 weeks for the Gfin share price to drop below Placing price.
I'd like to think that within that time frame our BOD could have worked out that things weren't going smoothly with regard to the partnership.
Burton boasted he has 40 years experience in this game, participating in fund raises etc.
Since we hold warrants in Gfin, and there appears to be no lock in on the Placing, let's hope his experience led to him protect our investment especially since we appear to be low priority to Gfin.

The collectable World Cup football cards and album by Pannini is being launched next week, August 25th.
This signals the start of the build up to the upcoming tournament.

With 2 contracts from Mexico in the bag I think it's a perfectly reasonable question to ask if everything is in place.
In fact, using September 1st as guidance is also perfectly reasonable.
You could argue that between now and then news will land to confirm. There's a ramp opportunity there for those so inclined.

You've asked a reasonable question and I've provided a reasonable answer.
If there's no news on the website launch before September 1st then you could argue there is a delay.
And we all know how the market perceives a delay.
But what we do know it they are targeting the World Cup.
How long before the media really starts marketing the upcoming event?
I'd say October, 6 weeks prior before the excitement builds so at the latest that's when MOS should have everything in place.

Despite the shenanigans that have gone on at the beginning of the year I now feel a corner has been turned.
Any news from now on (except dilution) should have a positive effect on the SP.

Additionally, the NFTs will be sold via MOS's telco contracts globally, its LiveScores sites and Apps and the MOS Metaverse website.

My guess is that with the Mexico contract due to start on September 1st they need to get everything up and running soon.

Contract is for 3 years, but obviously if the partnership is a success I'd expect an extension to cover 2026.
Mexico I assume automatically qualify. I'd need to check but I think team participation raises from 32 to 48. (Probably to make qualification easier for Engerland) ;)

The most obvious point being missed was his statement (which he reiterated) about this being one of the biggest deals ever in sports NFTs.

There is a 2 day "expo" in Mexico City starting Friday.

But with the hints he's putting out I'd suspect he's in talks with other teams in Mexico City.

We might actually see a delayed reaction to yesterday's news.
It does happen from time to time.
Bit I tend to agree, market remains a tad sceptical.

Out of interest, why do MOS need to raise more funds?
Despite us not knowing the breakdown of the revenue streams, you can't deny revenue has increased since January.

Is that $14.5M 'transformational' contract guaranteed?
Did revenue really increase or did IGS contribute? (I know you can't answer that, you're not privy)

Let's hope so, he diluted us to the tune of half a million quid at below Placing price.
