Considering the state of Pumas at the moment I couldn't think of a worse time to launch their NFTs.
It's a gamble that the hard-core fans will buy them up and not keep their hands in their pockets as a protest.
This launch is very very important and personally I'd prefer it after (or during) the World Cup, just in time for Xmas and the new season in January.

Depends on the nature of the NFTs.
The club emblem will always be desirable for fans.
Past achievements, iconic players etc could do well.
Dani Alves of course will probably be collectable.

Another loss and eliminated from Apertura meaning no participation in La Liguilla.
Season over until January.

60 days because that's the start of the World Cup.
Mexican squad will be announced just prior, maybe around 19th of October.

There has been no movement in SP on recent news because the success (or failure) of the NFTs provided by MOS is as yet unknown.
Expected revenue is just an agreed target, whether its $15M or $3.7M.
The market is not yet convinced those figures are achievable.
This makes the initial NFT drops very important.
We saw what happened regarding the reporting of initial downloads on the LiveScores Apps.
Big percentage increases reported and the market loved it.
Those increases have hit a brick wall but a big move was made last year off the back of them.
I'm hoping for similar with the Mexican World Cup drop.
Not so much with Pumas unless they make the playoffs.

That is a fact that can't be denied.
And the company have cash because of the last cash call.
They have promised up to 30 more deals.
Let's assume they close out 15.
The outlay to MOS is anything from $50K to $310K per deal over a set time, not in one chunk.
Also add in the point made this week regarding the Dollar meaning better returns for MOS.
So the question is, do MOS have enough cash to fund ongoing deals?
Would they use existing headroom to dilute to fund bigger deals?
There is an argument for and against.
But to play the "keep the lights on" card is disingenuous. And I suspect you know it.

My apologies regarding promotion and relegation to/from Liga MX.
This was initially frozen for 5 years from 2020 but it appears on appeal, this 5 year period has been shortened.
