I'm not sure what will happen... On one hand Govt will like a flush of money in the economy as with the PPI ...

On other hand only last week a key player ( Secure Trust Bank) has decided to pull out of the car finance market and is winding down the books.

With the vast majority of people obtaining cars using finance is very important.

Govt also stands to lose a lot of revenue as loss are of set on the balance sheets.

Soon things will become clearer and no doubt Mr Lewis be banging his compo drum very loudly.

For me was a very moving experience. Our lovely pastor asked who has been touched by war. Lost a relative, been in active combat etc and almost everyone from all faiths put their hand up. I was talking to some people from our debt collection division.. Biggest thing that annoy them is people who refuse to work. Not Covid related just an overgenerous benefits system and a sense of entitlement... Shop lifting now at record high? Why this , are people starving?
