So was it a good deal? Imo always keep the gold for a rainy day or war chest.. At at best all it did was kick the debt bomb further down the road...Along it seem with sale of 4G licensees and all the privatization monies.

POI is a good point.

For sure Russia economy will be hit . Russia budget planning at $70 a barrel. But also think this a double edge sword.

In USA fracking can cost about $55 a barrel. Compare this to Saudi and Kuwait at under $10 a barrel.. maybe even closer to $5dollar.

Uk also have a headache with low crude prices..

OPEC mostly likely keep cutting production..

Everything it seem now being weaponised..

I can see imo the policy increasingly centering around currency stabilization as much as anything else. Bear this in mind mine not the wisest head..🤣🤣

The combination of the tariffs and a weak currency could be a real double whammy for some countries including the USA.

Mr Ed Miliband role looking increasingly untenable.... This is no time as I see it to be doubling down on the green agenda. Needs to wind it back a few paces as we need economy to get out the slow lane.

Personally I see this a bit different.

West should be proud of its part in the transformation of China and the lives of its people and the same with other countries such as Cambodia, Vietnam etc etc who all have growing economies and much needed improvements in the lives of ordinary people. As for GDP per head.

Let me say this . With a new house in Cambodia starting at around £30K you get a lot more bang for your buck...

Respect.. In the "normal" trading world you would be seeing a dip in the Sp roughly on the par with the amount of dividend when stock go ex dividend.

As it did not work out that way then that day has passed and the SP will now be wholly influenced by trading volumes, and macro factors etc..
