FED is a complex organization which Powell heads. What were you wanting them to do? The Fed mission is to make the U.S. economy stronger and the financial system more stable for all segments of society. How they do this? Well some is done let say above the water and some below. Take last month what FED doing buying up $20bn worth of treasuries ( QE on the quiet)? They produce a large amount of data some of which catch my eye... When you say bailed out by Us taxpayer what you mean exactly?

Rates need to stay higher for longer.. The problem really start a long way back when rates dropped to almost negative. Everyone used to the cheap and easy money, but that never going to last. Along come a problem like Covid and boom.

A debt based global economy having to pay a substantial uplift in interest on that debt with flat line growth... Ouch.. If you want real pain take a look at Japan....

Some people on here not understand the benefit of religion. My church is the warm and welcoming place full of friends and happiness. If you need anything someone always help, no one judge you. We have a day each moth where we reach out to the local community with pop up food stalls which we fund.. Our pastor is a lovely man and keep a tight ship. He the go to guy to sort out local issues.
