@joey: spend a day reading through the SGH board on Hot Copper. Then buy some blue chip shares.

@sparkles2000: nail on the head. It's worth people re-visiting the 'proof-laden' deck which SGH issued before the purchase. They're in a desperate mess and facing 3 Class Actions from shareholders. Frankly I don't see WTG settling for anything but peanuts...maybe even just the salt at the bottom of the nut bowl.

Every story has two sides:- -They're facing THREE class actions from their own shareholders and need to show that they are fighting do do what they can to recoup the losses. This action against WTG could drag things out for 2-3 years whilst they try to rebuild a collapsing business or - Despite 3 months of DD by the very finest lawyers, accountants and expensive external advisors, its possible that they have been defrauded by something so well hidden from the prying eyes that is has only just come to light. I know which one appears (note my caution) more likely.

....and sucking up what's sold as we speak. As dismayed as I am about the current state of the sp, it's clear that today's news has not created further capitulation. At the same time, as another investor pointed out elsewhere, the SGH rise today was more likely associated with another RNS they issued, where they have been awarded significant legal costs.

I'm sure he will do so not only in the RNS about the escrow but also at the AGM: will you be there?

As unpleasant as it feels, this looks very consistent with the longer term trend: had to add another £2k just now.

We will either have clarity over SGH's claim on the escrow or Will have settled (unlikely IMHO) until then.... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

And the pattern continues....... At this rate a small number of II's will own a very significant % of the company very soon....unless you already consider 50% significant.

I guess we'll all just have to wait: I'm not a lawyer....its a personal opinion. Time will tell, however the recent significant growth of II holdings suggests to me that people who are far better informed than us PI's have decided that their money is safe here (I can't speak for those who are closer to 'the action'). @lindoser: yes...HC has some really good posters on it but as always its easy to see who is who lol. @crystal balls: quite.....so who does pay the YLF (and WTG) costs when they lose?

Well YLF have zero expertise in this field and a pretty poor track record based on their own website (and some help from Mr Google)........so maybe they're just following in the wake of SGH. Since the FCA took no action and the SFO have taken ZERO action so far, I just wonder about YLF's ability. Still...if they do take action and lose, it'll cost YLF nowt: aren't costs down to the losing shareholders? Just an opinion.

It's been 'due' for a long time. I'm not sure why now would be any more due than 18 months ago when they first made so much noise about it. Maybe they are dependent on others......? Any thoughts?

Hi Dar, I assume you meant 'if escrow claim didnt happen': in which case the contract is clear....the money is released to WTG. It's sat in an independent escrow account and requires no claim to recover it. I feel sure SGH WILL issue a claim:- 1. They have had a barrister say that their claim appears to have merit based on what he has seen from SGH 2. What makes you say they lack credibitlity? I'm not a lawyer and havent seen what was presented, but WTG appear to be very clear on their stance that they will didpute the threatened but still as yet pending claim. Perhaps both sides are negotiating a settlement....? Either way June 19 is, I believe, the deadline.

SGH missed their own threatened deadline for issuing a claim: I wonder why? Two weeks to go until the release of escrow, so I think it's reasonable to assume we will see news before then unless they are dropping the claim sompletely (which would seem highly unlikely).
