Just seen an update with images on Twitter re the Maine site!

I feel their main priority must be to de-risk the Ruvuma commitments where possible, I'm not sure they are in a position to take big risks and gamble with money needed to support their 25% of already proven assets with the potential for more to come with appraisal and expoloration - My take is that they will just leave the 1m share options with HE1 drilling as no costs to pay out and its a free ride in theory - so fully de-risked with no capital outlay required, but also a little HE1 skin in the game if they do find the stuff

They are clearly wanting to exit Africa, and rightly so want the best deal possible before they do. HE1 has paid off to some degree, which is why they are releasing the cash now and have it earmarked for the Ruvuma. You could say this has actually worked in SCIR favour for a change.

I don't believe they will get to the drilling stage and will conclude a sale after 3D has started or just before - so very soon!

Whoever wants the 25% Ruvuma stake is certainly playing hard ball (WEN maybe?), but this current situation with their sale of some of HE1 shows the market or observers they have the funds to take the work programme to the next stage at least until the end of this year. I just don't understand that If you could now purchase 25% of Ruvuma for say $20m, why would you wait for the drilling or even 3D - its already a proven commercial asset so why risk potentially paying a lot more!

I know all that part thanks Newfoundland, I had been invested for a little while but I no longer any at the moment as I don't trust Mr Rowan to deliver. Thought you might have heard something which is why you were back on the board!

Have you heard anything about AEG with your contacts recently?

Looks like a few investors have sold out who may have been in SCIR for the HE1 asset play with some hedge in case HE1 doesn't play out - they have probably left and invested directly in HE1. Frank SCIR is covered for 3D and drill pad prep, but they need additional funds for the actual drilling - not sure what the cost of this is as yet though, so it may be covered as part as of that $5m investment facility!
I feel this is a good move to lock in cash now as nobody really knows what HE1 will do in the next 6 months - half way through Q2 now so moving quickly on the Ruvuma work programme

Thanks cperkin, so the market is valuing Ruvuma at just £5m!

I would say this RNS today is to say to market we have sold what we need to for now and at least investors now know how to value the HE1 stake (one the reasons I sold mine)

News and full update soon on Ruvuma is my guess here!

Seems like good news to me - is this amount released what SOLO originally invested in HE1? sorry don't have the info to hand.
Assuming this cash is to pay for 3D for Ruvuma - seems likely with timings mentioned in their last communication!

Just highlights things are finally changing in Tanzania and it can be done - worth the read re New president part!
Should give investors some confidence and let's hope AEX doesn't have too long to wait for all outstanding government approvals

The problem is that Mr Rowan is working remotely from London and not on site. He is not a sales person either or a go getter and looks like he prefers to bet on the nose and not each way (as that's probably too complicated to keep more than one plate spinning)

That saw dust they are working over must have come from somewhere but why are they not talking about the 'Lumber' which is actually trading at near time highs for sometime - Is it because they are not hitting the container numbers provided in previous news?

And If it is performing to the numbers why has it been completely ignored and not communicated to the PI's, as I am more than sure that the larger investors who purchase or converted at 1p , will know a lot more than PI's do at this time..

Very strange way to keep investors up to date and this was happening before any legal disputes so they can't blame that!

I hope it does hit the timelines and bounces back, but like I said before I won't Invest back here while you know who is still around and if it did hit 0.50p which is possible, but highly unlikely, I would consider to trade a few for a quick bounce!

With any share there could all of a sudden there could be a nice run of good news, but they will need to settle the legal disputes first as this will be a distraction and hold back the SP.

I am watching on the sidelines, but by the looks of the RMDE situation it is not going to go away that easily, but if it does cause a situation Mr Rowan could always pay them off with some of that cash pile sitting on the balance sheet. The same could be said about the two disgruntled ex-employees!

Its just very poor management

At least when Mr Spinks was in the chair he had a few plates spinning. Mr Rowan has dismissed all the other opportunities and focused on just one area and still messed it up and has taken an age to do so - its like a slow motion car crash

He also has a managed to upset many key supporters of the technology and some of them were key to the development (2 past key staff members) plus to upset a partner who paid a considerable sum for a licence that kept the company afloat (RMDE)

Just what and how he manages the business is beyond me, but I feel he just left Antonio Esposito to sort it all out in Lumberton with probably limited support. Not even sure what happened with Antonio and his company renting some space for a while and then being acquired by AEG (what was that all about!!) then he was demoted from the board - he's probably upset him as well!
Let's see what happens this week to the SP, if this drops to 0.50 I may take some just to trade!!

I believe the news SCIR selling some or all of HE1 and their RNS re investment facility surely highlights that they are putting funds in place ready for first payment for CH1 3D and drill pad prep, so probably no sale agreed as yet then!
It would be good to hear what is going on but I feel the 3D and drilling must still going to plan. I guess you can tell by AEX silence they are not attempting to raise funds as they would be pushing the news flow to attempt to boost the price - slowly, slowly it is then I guess. They must have a plan for the ongoing cash flow situation as companies don't usually like to leave these things down the wire!
This is where the patient hopefully make their money, just how much more patience is still required is the big question

If you have a few spare hours available have a look through all the letters previous correspondence between AEG and NCDEQ when applying for the initial permit - its worth a read as they messed that up big time - I don't have time to find the link but if I remember its on the NCDEQ website!

TBH - the news today doesn't really surprise me as a lot of the local residence to the plant do not want AEG to succeed. I do feel NCDEQ are just covering their own backsides by issuing the notice and playing the game - at the end of the day they making modifications that are making improvements, so the locals should be at least a little happier!

With no news or delays this could slip further down to 0.65, maybe 0.60

I will keep my fingers crossed that the news is good, of course if it is, it will be back up over 1p. A lot more shares in circulation now though so that rise maybe less aggressive than previous movements!

Well my target of 0.75 look like it was hit today, but still not buying.
I think this price point just highlights the situation AEG are in - this should still be trading at 1.25p at least but for the Mr Rowan affect, he has messed up a fantastic opportunity to put AEG on the global map and has completely lost FULL momentum!
I said he would just be after the money then go quiet apart from some twitter updates and one online interview

New leadership required please, so I can invest back into the technology!

I would say they were demanding they either did something with the cash pile or it's special divi time and they just said no we are comfortable as we are thanks. The City doesn't like too steady, too comfortable for too long, they want reinvestment of the cash pile (or divi) and even go into debt to sensible gearing to repeat any previous success - doesn't always work, but that's the City for you...

I really liked the hedge on HE1 play with the % they owned - selling some was a good move, the problem is that no one knows what shares HE1 have left, if any - I know its sensitive information but as shareholders how can you work out the risk if you don't know the state of play! if they owned 10% of HE1 and sold say 2% the market would still see the move and would be totally visible all the way down to 3% anyway
Happy to invest back in but will review week by week but are investors selling out here and going straight to either HE1 for the Helium drill or to AEX for Ruvuma 3D/Drill but with the benefit of the free carry!
SCIR is still very undervalued what ever my thoughts are!

I wouldn't want to be in their situation with £150k needing to be rolled, probably bought on T20 or something and are force to roll over or take the loss (or profit depending when they originally bought) - very tight spread, so a good deal who ever that was!

I had a look at my transaction history today for when I sold out of AEG and whilst most of my share sales were in approx 0.80 or above I did sell a few under that and my last lot at under 0.40 as I had enough when the 5 became 3tph and still feel this was due to the emissions and testing requirement from the delayed and delayed again permit approval. I remember reading that if they would have just gone for 3tph to start with no permits would have been needed anyway as it was under the limit - what a waste of time that permit debacle was then!!

I have feeling there will be some excuse re any delay due to the legal distraction/s

I have sold my shares in SCIR and finished selling today. I just don't like how quiet it is at the moment with no updates - I feel there is something happening with Ruvuma but when will happen is the question - probably tomorrow now I've sold

More dilution I see and not a great strike price either!!! Assuming they need the cash to start off the costs for 3D and drill pad prep at Ruvuma

Asset Rich/Management Poor is my take on SCIR - still plenty of value here though and will keep watching on the sidelines for now

I've been sniffing around contemplating buying in - but I won't after seeing how they treat shareholders by taking from the till!!

It looks to me that they are all in for the easy ride, sitting and waiting with no risk taking or development to the business like they should be doing with the current set up of the business, cash in bank and good cash flow
This is their cash cow but they will need to be very careful it doesn't end up to be their golden goose!

No interest from me now unless I see some hard work to justify that sort of income - no wonder they are still on aim!
