Nice one - bought a few more yesterday as well!
Any purchased under 22p feels like an absolute bargain to me - I will slowly build a nice position in WEN (but I'm not in rush and the SP doesn't seem to be either, so not overpaying for the sake of it!)

If WEN are interested in the SCIR % then I don't understand why they would wait until after the 3D and then pay more. The 2D and current gas estimates have actually increased recently!
I would like to see WEN take a 20% or the full 25% for $12m cash and $10m in shares (locked in for 12 months) I am sure SCIR would be okay with this as they will have cash to spend on their new target assets plus have a good stake in WEN with the added advantage of a nice divi. Would be better if the WEN SP was a little higher to assist with dilution but there would be a nice asset in exchange for this. SCIR will also have a some form of skin in the game for the 3D and the drill results also. Probably way off, but as I now have a nice little holding in WEN I thought I would post my thoughts! Finally bought a few today and will look to increase my holding over the coming weeks on any SP weakness - would ideally like to be buying at 20p target, but I wanted to make a start to build a position, at least under 22p!
Divi is nice of course, cash on hand needs to be put to some hard work and with the Natural gas noise getting louder I thought WEN would be one of the safest places for some of my cash. I know this isn't going to rise like a phoenix but I like the current set up. They may well just surprise the market in the very near term with some M & A activity, but if not, I will sit back and take the dividend while I wait!

Only have a few shares in SCIR (under water) so I too have jumped in with 500k purchase!

Invested profit from another transaction, so thought I would try my luck here - finger crossed!

Used to trade REDT back in late 2018 early 2019 - luckily I got out and sold most of my shares after attending the AGM - I wasn't convinced in the board of directors. Got to see the flow machines in action though so was worth the trip to some extent!

I have been watching IES over the last few years and was still not convinced to invest back in this technolgy, but with this low price and recently just raised at £1 it seems like a bit of a no brainer not to have a go! They do seem to be making progress and have now started manufacturing and placing a few units into the market place.

This price was just too tempting so I thought I would take a small starter position to see where this leads. IES may still have more volatility to come but I feel its a very good entry price - I guess time will tell if I made the correct call!!

Seems they are waiting on many deliveries/News updates 'Early'/Q1 2022. Clearly there have been many delays due to a raft of issues as well as dealing with raw material/shipping volatility. These issue have affected most businesses so they are not alone.

Hopefully the board will provide an Operational Update this week and keeping my fingers crossed there are no further delays or any bad news.

I agree Sharehead a very exciting short term future for AEX - nothing is guaranteed though but sentiment seems to be changing for AEX and the Natural Gas sector as a whole. This in itself should help to highlight AEX and their current Assets but also the farm out monies available to fund a company changing programme (albeit a few years until the cash flows in)
The other benefit is that after 3D result and then the drilling programme AEX are fully funded for the next stages and should have approx $28m still left in the kitty - so no need to raise to continue after the results!
We do of course have the ongoing cash flow challenge until income is generated but I am hopeful that we hear more on this in the next few months! - All looking a lot better and APT seem to be doing a great job so far!
Delays may slow this down a little but I am hopeful that all is on still on schedule for Q3 drilling

Yes, to try and warn investors of the poor management and failure with everything they seem to touch. You should be thanking me for my time spent and to read another view from a past investor and to challenge your own thoughts and opinions every now and then! Well done on reciving the RNS. Still seems very rushed to me and TBF still not actually produced or delivered as yet but Mr Roman seems confident!!
Winds seem to be fully out of the sails at the moment due to all the mismanagement etc. and they still have that test burn that needs to be successful if delivery does take place on time and they're no excuses! Which I predict they will say they have an issue with one of the plant machinery and will need more time!

It should be over 1p on this news right now, but it's been so mismanaged that some are using it as an opportunity to exit! The time this will fly back up is on completion of the test burn and how they will joint finance the Maine 50TPH - if successful they will probably award a licence to Maine and move on.

Just watched the presentation - my take on this:

They will get the 3TPH REFERENCE plant up and running on time but may suffer delays with commissioning the plant for full production, which may cause a slight delay to ship to customer

It looks to me that they will not expand the plant passed 5TPH and may not even passed 3TPH - satisfying permits maybe the issue and further cash investment

Burn test - when pallets are delivered a large burn test has never been carried out before, so there is a risk that modifications maybe required subject to the test results, However, if successful from the off (I am sure it will create a nice uptick in the SP BTW) but may drop down again as they will not go to full production from the REFERENCE plant and mass manufacture will be at least 2 to 3 years away even if the test performance is well above expectations. A new license will need to be awarded and a plant to be financed, built and commissioned. The new plant will not be financed or built by AEG

No mention on where they are with the current Licence holder – RMDE!

2021 break even - I thought they were doing that with the lumber activity alone! Why no mention of the lumber activity at all - this has gone very quiet

New money in place will cover the plant expenditure and site upgrades!! Previously raised money also quoted this - maybe this time it will finally happen!
Licensing model is definitely the go forward plan - I don't believe they will build their own - they will only have the REFERENCE plant to provide samples for test burning orders

Why only release the forecast numbers to brokers when AEG still has large percentage of investors - surely not fair on you guys, unless you are happy to pay for the information! I would raise this and complain to the BOD

A few nice awkward ear pulling’s there Mr Rowan, number of staff increasing and licensing model!! Do you play poker for money, if so I would love to have a game with you!

I would say the licensing model is the correct decision, but may take longer to reach material income - its still a great product idea but be ready for a few ups and downs along the way

Seattle, how about my post below from earlier this year? There were others where I predicted the price may even drop to 0.45 and was ridiculed for being a stupid! I did try and warn investors in Jan when shares were intra day trading at 1.85

I sold at the wrong time after many years invested :-(, but at the time I felt it was for the right reasons

My concerns at the time were:-
Continuous plant delays with many complaints from the locals re permits as well as the 5tph down to 3tph!
Lost confidence and trust in Mr Rowan after time and time again asking for money and false promises
Proof of concept under mass burn testing - still not been mass burn tested or mass manufactured yet and will soon find out
Large CLN exposure and potential mass dilution
Mr Spinks selling some or all of his shares!

Now that the CLN's have been converted (and noted at an even greater dilution than I first thought due to the 3.29p heavy dilution part) this is one of my reasons for selling my shares initially now reduced, but please note CLN's conversion may not have been in total support as if the investors were ever going to see their money again it was maybe the only way to guarantee this!. Some of course may support it and you will see this by the share price movements over the next few weeks/months, some may run for the hills and take their cash off the table even below the 1p conversation price!

Personally, I believe there will be every chance to pick these shares up for less than 1p in the next 3 to 4 weeks due to the sheer numbers of new shares hitting the market - if there are very little updates or continuous news flow it may even drop to 0.75p subject to what the CLN investors and also the Primary Bid investors do in the very short term

I still very much like the concept but I don't trust the CEO and will not reinvest until he has left the company. IMHO my best way to play this is to wait for the mass testing to be confirmed and the plant is financed - as this is potentially a few years away there will be plenty of opportunities I feel to buy back in once Mr Rowan has departed

Its good that the company has no debt and even now has some assets but its just how they manage the next 6 months with news flow, hitting targets and spending that new money! Know doubt in my mind that if this does work as they claim then this will be acquired very quickly anyway probably even before 50 tph plant is built so may miss out anyway

Just my thoughts and maybe totally wrong as I was when I sold too early, but I did predict the raising of new money at 1p

I know this isn't a positive take on the current situation, so some won't listen, but I feel the next major RNS will be about another fund raise and dilution I'm afraid!

I hope I'm wrong, but I feel the strike price will be lower than Gravendonck's last sale price (probably 0.30) and they may actually be included in the new fundraise and take more shares at the lower price to build back their stake. Hopefully on the basis that you know who will be gone though!

With the two director buys from Gravendonck, does this not mean they cant have any news soon or expected to be announced, as this would be insider dealing wouldn't it?

Maybe they are waiting for the burn test results but they did say this would be later in the year - anyone know or a guess on how much cash they may have left today and current cash burn rate?

What a situation AEG are in now - they have nothing other than the Coalswitch and this is still unproven until volume testing has been competed and analysed and a site that is empty and useless without permits

Mr Rowan has totally stripped everything out from AEG over the last year and been paid well in the process

Forestry
Lumber and logging - which he introduced on his watch which cost money to develop and money to close down - Note: When lumber prices when through the roof and they didn't couldn't even make that work!
RMDE License gone with a potential legal battle
Lumberton - empty, so assuming this will be up for sale at some point - but AEG own the building so they cant just walk away!
Dilution to profit with Ashland but now not operating!
Loan Notes and debt taken out at massive dilution - good that debt has been removed though!
He has even manage to miff off his largest investor who has sold down at terrible prices!

In my opinion, this has been totally stripped and cleaned up for another party to acquire the patents. They probably won't want a lumberton site (and if they do it will be without any other activity) or a forestry division, or a partner at Ashland and certainly not RMDE as a licence partner. I feel the next RNS will be a going concern issue and raising urgent funds is now required etc.. It will be along the lines of high risk warning, high dilution in this market and they may have to put themselves up for sale to see if there are any bidders. Better hurry up Mr Rowan as I am not sure how much cash you actually have left now, bearing in mind it will take at least 6 months for other companies to see the books with due diligence etc..

Just be careful with this one - it doesn't look very good. I did warn plenty of time in the recent past re Mr Rowan and my warnings have come true long with my share price guesstimates. I was ridiculed by many at the time as well...

This is now totally off my radar, wouldn't touch this with someone else's barge pole!

Good luck to you all, but please don't invest good money after bad, If there is a miracle and good news announced, you will have plenty of time to Jump back in (remember there are a lot more shares in circulation now!), you may miss a few % gain but at least you will keep your capital until you know for sure that AEG has a chance!

You actually have negative PR at the moment - recent news story accusing AEG of basically misleading Investors with no official comment - it’s not good, let’s hope they RNS something very soon to put this right - this is a right mess and they need someone new, very quickly to sort this out - clearly Mr Rowan has absolutely no contacts in the right areas to get things done - otherwise you wouldn’t be in this mess - still waiting to see what RMDE response is to their legal challenge, have they been paid off on the quiet which is why they have no money left and mentioned they may need to raise fund at some point. Even concerned about the pollution numbers mentioned. It could BS, but if it is then tell your Shareholder AEG!!!!!

Scary news - you should all email Mr Rowan - his direct email address is listed in all the correspondence re permits for lumberton if you want I find it . The major concern I have is that as shareholders you shouldn’t have to put up with this guessing game - AEG should be honest with the facts and clear about what is happening! Nothing changes I’m afraid - until management changes! I was ridiculed not that long ago warning about this situation when the SP was well over 1.50p

ivans, I would say they are reducing their holding due to an anticipated future placing, they may then buy back in at a lower price point as part of the placing. They did this before a few years back!

Matherdj, I have been doing some work on projected cash flow/spend and I worked out with some of the detail that AEX were spending $110k per month certainly for both Nov & Dec 20. They then received $990k (Jan to June 21) on top of the $450k AEX had at 1 Jan 21 = $1.44m and they are still owed $330k at end of June- TOTAL $1.77m.
So that means that AEX (when you take into the $1.7m loan in place) will need, over a 18 month period, a total of $3.43m or $191m per month or pro rata $2.39m per year! This doesn't add up as they are supposed to be under £1m ($1.4m) by 2022 and have already slashed costs considerably Unless of course they have some exceptions!

I think they are okay for cash and will not need that loan until the end of the year! At the end of day the Zubairs still owe us $330k which should have been paid to AEX by end of April as part of the farm-out. Looking at the numbers AEX must have been down to just $10k left in the bank on the end of Oct 20!!!
