I said this a few days ago.
We have investors at every level here.
for some 30p is a good profit for others they break even at £1.6 people will be selling all the way up. We need more buyers at any level to soak them up.
The traders will play with their 10% all the way up facilitated by the MM's who have to make money as well.
The PR at the minute is great but it is only excellent if it attracts enough buyers to counter those selling out in profit or relief. A large II buy or two would be lovely but I think at this level unlikely.
News of sales changes the picture considerably (but we all kinda know that anyway).
UK Approval for POC covid test gives us another spike unless followed by... you guessed it sales.!

this is very simple if you brought in at placing or below you have made a nice profit and are entitled to take it out. Well done.

Think we have to accept there will be profit taking all the way up here.
Many have been trapped here for a very long time and there will be relief as people get their cash back at all levels up to around £2 if it gets anywhere near that.
This will slow any upward trend a little, but I hope there is enough buying in, to push us up.

The interesting thing to me is how David Budd suggested in the presentation that now they had made and designed this test , the next ones are really just an alteration of this one. Aiming it at the different gene/segment of gene. All the heavy work has been done. The process has been designed built and tested on a machine which has 20 years worth of development and trials ect.
That makes the potential huge for a large pharma with the ability to fund multiple test developments at a time. imagine 5,6,7 or more tests a year going into the approval stages. Soon a huge portfolio of tests.
The potential is huge. I would be expecting a least a nibble from a large Biotech company, personlize medicine is the way forward now.

my guess beech is that shorter got caught on the hop by news flow.

And they good thing about that is to minimize their loss they have to buy back .7% of company fast or let it ride and risk a huge loss.
