Folk will recall that 135BCF of LNG was stated by PRD to be worth £2.67 per share

That was before NPV effect

Before costs

Etc etc

Hmmm

Do the VERY ROUGH MATHS

I can’t recall when that £2.67 was started…

but let’s assume increased shares in issue since then…of 20% (probably wrong)

so that £2.67 becomes £2.14

Now…allow 50% for NPV effect and profit for the next man (probably wrong)

So that £2.14 becomes £1.07

But that was for 135 BCF

Now do the maths on the ‘say 40BCF’ mentioned in The Sunday Roast

That £1.07 becomes 32p per share

FOR 40BCF

Based on what Paul said in the interview...it seems that thectech will enable us to prove all Relevant strata...for about the same price as just one 8 metre section

As I suspected...this seems to be VERY BIG NEWS
And could have material effect on up front values obtainable

so that both ...or MORE (!)… Parties...

could declare victory re the deal outcome

I used to call the creation of such wriggle room… ' kicking up gorilla dust'

My take on it...

I hated the format...
and thought it really did not do justice to what we have in Guercif

I think Paul's reference to an initial payment of up to $200m
was based upon say 40 BCF...
as of course in NPV terms that would be attractive to buyer (S)

I do think there is a read across that should be accounted for...
IE what can PG/LB prove up quickly???

Seems to me that Paul was saying that... baseline ...
we should see 4/5 bags minimum in short order

BUT the upside needs to be drilled to prove the big numbers

I agree with MEMs comments re both values and CPR

I was very interested in the tech to be used to test differing sand strata...

Whilst I don't yet understand it

it sounds as if it could allow us to prove multiple zones ...and more volume

quickly and economically
