In the US Market you sometimes find the scam where companies dilute then do a reverse split (consolidation of shares) just to dilute again. Rinse, repeat. The reverse split is required because the Nasdaq stock market has a minimum of $1 per share otherwise you get delisted.

Do the AIM rules allow this kind of abuse? There is no minimum share price restriction but I heard folks saying that capital raises are impossible at some point. Anyone know the specifics?

at best you can consider your shares to be undervalued by the market. mark-to-market it is a loss.

imagine the case where doc bought back the same amount of share he sold back then. according to your reasoning, he wouldn't be a loser anymore as his position is indistinguishable from someone that just held through this ****show ( excepet he is better off because he didn't take the elevator down).

Whether someone wears them doesn't really matter. It's about people buying them. There are apparently enough fools out there. Anyway my home markets biggest sector is anyway biotech and chemistry (Novartis, Roche, Givaudan, Alcon, ...). Too complicated to understand.

you don't need to be from the uk to invest in british stocks. there are lots of reasons why you would want to put your money there. i'm saying this a swiss citizen.

it's a nice western country with **** weather, awesome people (on average a bit grumpy), a common law system, decent stock market and english speaking.

the only drawback is that companies focus a bit too much on dividends as form of capital return.

In 25q1, we can observe that our average mining grade rose to 2.4 g/t but I can't tell whether this is a trend.
