Sorry I don't use the LSE stock exchange I'm on the Torronto Venture exchange. I'm aware that there are some really arcane mechanisms on LSE but I don't see how that matters unless you are trading.

The question you have to answer to decide whether this is a good investment is whether the current share price reflects this risk appropriately.

Alphamin, a tin producer in the DRC, recently shut down because the DRC is right now being invaded by Rwandan supported paramilitary called M23. Workers are physically in danger. Rwanda occupies mines and steals the resources to the tune of $600m a year.

Guess what: Alphamin trades at higher multiples than $THX.

The number of board invasions this stock has launched has intensified.

It's as if a coordinated group wants to distract us from things happening with $MATD? Traders are leaving this stock very quickly from what I can tell from the recent price action.

The stock is up 35% ytd and 90% over 1y so I don't think anyone lost money on this stock since it became clear that this is a good bet.

Someone might say "but you could have bought years ago!". Well all I can say is that maybe you shouldn't buy heavily indebted companies with zero earnings unless you understand the business extremly well. I can see that few people have read Graham's Security Analysis and even fewer understand what "Margin of Safety" means.

This is also why $MATD is dumping like a rock. If you rely on optionality to even turn a profit you just going to get burnt. Blaming traders and negs won't change the fact that you are just holding a very speculative oil explorer/producer. Maybe it turns a profit some day and can stand on it's own feet. Why not enter once that happens? Sure you might make a bit more money entering early but is it worth all the additional risk you expose yourself to? To be frank it's riduculous how some people approach this.

Fundamentals win out in the end. Note that you can still lose money even if you do everything right, but this is just the nature of the game.

People already tagged me as neg in here, but I'm actually not that bearish on this stock I think it will just flatline for a while until we get more color on the production numbers.

The law here is just that if you are not relentlessly bullish you get tarred and feathered.

How come the price is dumping when the RNS & AGM went so well? Does the market know more than what people are letting on?

Nigeria is a higly risky jurisdiction though the company enjoy some political support right now. If you think the jurisdiction is not reflected in the share price or are not willing to take a highly asymmetric bet with some chance of failure this stock is not for you.

Since most of you board invaders seem to be involved in $MATD, a company that doesn't even have shown revenue yet and operates in Mongolia, a terrible jursdicition too, I think you understand that part aswell and just pretend to be dense. If you were really that dense you should seek out Gamblers Anonymous, because this is all you would be doing the.

In the end we are talking about a highly profitable operation trading at less than one times earnings. We have companies such as Resolute and Endeavour mining in Mali and Burkina Faso where a military putsch government and russian mercenaries blackmail CEOs to pay up some more made-up taxes and these companies trade at a higher multiple.

Either this stock is really mispriced and we will see some good returns after positive newsflow or there is some dog$hit hidden somewhere and might lose some of your capital. This just the game. If you don't know how to diversify your holdings, you should leave.

Jammin86 it's actually much funnier. TenBagTag didn't lose money on this stock. He lost money on $MATD and blames one guy named ADW, who also invests in $THX, to have caused the dump (and not the fact that $MATD is a negative cashflow mini oil producer in Mongolia). I would call it a $hitco but maybe that's too much.

So as a form of revenge he and some of his alts/buddies started posting one or two sentence criticisms about the stock. This is fine and all but if you check TenBagTag's first posts you see he was basically saying random verifiable nonsense like the balancesheet sucks, raise incoming etc. Basically things ironically are true for $MATD.

Other things he has been calling out was pumpers and traders that profit from the stock price movement on $THX right when $MATD pumped by 50% and now is dumping everyday.

So basically, he talk about things he sees in $MATD and, well, projects them to this stock. I think it's kinda funny but it lowers the quality of discussion on this board unfortunately.

If that is the case, the best move would be to enter post raise.

Think of the scenarios:

1. No raise needed. Stock starts running. You maybe lose out on a 30% move

2. Raise needed. Stock dumps. You get time to assess the situation and a better entry point if the bull case is still intact

Don't understand how you really really need to put in money into a cashflow negative company when patience will give you a better outcome.

If you listen closely you see that he is being very evasive about doing a raise. He acknowledges that it's unpopular but he is not excluding the possibility. Make out of it what you will.

Over 433 posts only today and various board invasions. RNS doesn't even look that bad but price is dumping, any explanations? Untrustworthy managment?

Quite a bit more than a year I'd say. Also I've been adding on last year's pullback.

The company was always on my radar but I just never agreed with the price... but in the end you have to pay up for quality and usually its more than I feel comfortable with; it is what it is. Last time it was around 20 times earnings I believe.

What I also like to do is to research how the hardcore fanbase is doing. They are mostly centered around reddit.

For example, I use https://subredditstats.com/r/warhammer40k which shows data about many people are involved in the subreddit as a proxy for growth of the hardcore fanbase. You can observe insane growth there.

Another thing is to use various warhammer subreddits to gauge how the hardcore fanbase reacts to price increases, new products, complaints etc.

This is very relevant as apparently the most dedicated fands spend several thousand GBP per year on the hobby!
