I still have some tiny bit of doubt, that yes this company may actually be the real deal. My absolute bottom line before baling and taking the loss was 75p, but I'm still here. Why ? I don't know.

Notrex, I'm sure you know better than that. Or you're an idiot. People - companies - organisations - are accused every day of crimes, both civil and criminal, based on the BELIEF that a crime has been committed. I'm not the law, nor are any of the people who's views I've relayed here anything more than business and industry insiders - some no more than field techs and engineers. You know what I BELIEVE will happen ? One way or another the shareholders investments here become worthless, or maybe a couple of pennies (under Chapter 11 scenario). there will be NO investigation, criminal or civil, despite DEC shareholders deciding they need to take some sort of action, they'll set up a an action group of some sort, post here a lot, everyone will write to the FCA or whatever or SFO demanding some sort of enquiry be undertaken. But nothing will come of it, because that's how it works.

However, IF I had the power to, I would certainly subpoena the company for all correspondence relating to Thanos, their state returns that show actual income earned over the last three years, and I'd employ a team of forensic accountants to go through hedged sales versus actual daily production, but this would entail going through the databases of several states for the 60-70 thousand wells registered to DEC.

And yet, for all that, people are scratching their heads wondering why the share price is below 75p today.

Pikeman - A serious question for you. Why would rusty want to but his company back at this point ? Right now, if he announced a holding over5%% or an intention to take the company private, the SP would rise to 90p minimum. By taking the route of Chapter 11, he destroys the share price, keeps control of the company, and can take private shortly after re-structuring in a couple of years' time, probably at pennies compared to what it's at now. Of course, we're assuming here that there is actually a 'company' worth saving.

Notrex, care to elaborate when I've been untruthful ? I told everyone what I believed to be going on, where the signs of fraud were, that people far more insightful of the situation with the Tanos deal were saying, that reserves and production rate are fictitious, that DEC has been playing the market and spent last year making absolute killer losses buying at spot to cover the shortfall in their pre-sold daily production. That their losses were so bad, they had to re-negotiate their hedging resulting in hundreds of millions of losses. I've laid it all out, just because you can't handle the truth, you call me names ? Lol.

How do you people - who are still ramping this company, making out everything is ok and all they need to so is 'increase the buyback' or 'cut the dividend' or 'stop those nasty shorts against us' - how do you sleep, knowing you're selling a lie ?

Andy144 - 5% of me still has some hope I'm wrong, that everybody who is in the know is wrong, combined with some greed and pride, keeps me in.

But, I've prepared myself for the worst over the last few months, so won't be too shocked then the company ceases trading and files for Chapter 11. By the way, I'm reading a lot rubbish here today on Chapter 11. Under US law, the only people who will get wiped out are the shareholders. Basically, Rusty can go on running the company (whatever 'the company' is) and debtors will continue to be paid, so there's only one group of people lose out here.

LMAO, this Blackmon guy seems to write a lot of articles for the Daily Caller, (pretty much a nazi news site founded by tucker carlson back in the day). We're keeping good company here, lol.

Is that the London telephone exchange, or the London corn exchange ? A consultant he may be. An oil and gas industry consultant, he may be. Light on specifics of the exchange, he certainly is. Still, money well spent for DEC, it seems, judging by he positive reception this planted piece has received here.

Share price will be 75p after the November Trading Statement and confirmation that the cash burn is maintained, with the latest RCF being increased by at least another 50 million. Look out for shuffling of drawn-down RCF into another SLL or ABS.

Ok, so RCF is meant to cover short term cash requirements, right ? So, if that is the case, why did DEC have to convert their 100 million dollar RCF to a structured long-term loan last November ? How much of the replacement 525 million dollar RCF has DEC drawn, and will we find out at some point in the future that all this has been drawn, can't be repaid in the short term, and so will be converted to another long term loan ?

Can't help thinking that the drop in SP this past twelve months correlates to the increased debt of 525 million dollars DEC has has been living on this past year.
