Gavster-NBC, I'm not saying DEC is destined for the dump - that's the beauty of chapter 11. Rusty'll be ok, Oaktree and any and all other creditors will be ok, DEC will be ok. It's just us mugs in a far-away place will be disgruntled. But I'll carry on holding, hoping I'm 100% wrong. and you all will too, I'm sure. I mean, we are too far in the hole, we got suckered in and we really were doing ok until Rusty and Tanos (and other insiders) pulled their master stroke. But time will tell. It'll have cost me a good few thousand, but I'll have the satisfaction of knowing what's been going on while everyone else is left scratching their heads wondering what happened and why there's no justice for them.

Andy144, I note that you fail to mention in your post that General Motors, Pacific Gas and Electric, Chrysler, Texaco, Enron, Worldcom, Hertz. Plus numerous other companies that up until filing for Chapter 11 were considered above reproach. But, yeah, go on, carry on ramping this company. Good luck. (:

Casapino, you write absolute rubbish. Bonds have to be held because they can be cashed-in at short notice if needed, so their market value is what's counted, NOT their 'underlying' value, or any other airy fairy theory you may have about how they should be valued. On any trading day, the value of the bond is what the market deems it to be, and on the balance sheet, this is what's important, not the wishful accounting thinking that you'd like to indulge in. Yes, I believe MNG is a good company.

And - again using your reasoning - if I'd sold at mid-price at closing on Friday, September 15th 2023 at 87.8p, I'd actually have received 87.8p per share ? How should I go about nominating you for the Nobel Prize in economics ?🤣

Good question, SlickMongoose. Chapter 11 is a wheeze invented in the US. The company lives on, but the shareholders are wiped out. Or, they get some new equity in the reborn company when it comes out of 'reorganisation'. Of course, I'm not an expert in US banking and finance, and how these things work...But you know who IS a banking and finance expert ? Rusty Hutson.

Jiffy Bag, the above gives an explainer of why a company might seek Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. DEC meets all the requirements of a company considering Chapter 11. But yeah, go on, carry on buying. Lol.

I'm surprised nobody here can see what's going on. DEC is being set up to file for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. It's gpoing to run up its' debit, default, then 'reorganise' under the protection of chapter 11. Rusty keeps the company, shareholders get wiped out, a new DEC emerges from the ashes. It's that simple. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news guys.
