Wellwell/Genghis, with all this talk of watercut it appears to me that someone is up to mischief. As mentioned this has been discussed to death and if it transpires he/she/it are correct then it can be dealt with.

On another note, I couldn't help but notice that Hur issued an updated report on some of the lanc wells, these being new (higher) pi values for both wells of 190 and 200+. Reading through the boards there appears to have been little made of this. Substantial figures which I think most people on here would appreciate. Water or pi? I know which one i'd rather talk about.

WWN, regarding your theory on water ingress. Looking at the chart it does indeed show the potential for an increase in water production BUT this is only true if we assume that the same well has been producing in that timeframe. As we know that we have 2 wells with differing % of perched water then it is impossible to extrapolate

Littlened, you've hit the nail on the head. The rns from yesterday appears to have been so dry and opaque that the vast majority of people reading it did not understand the implications of what it meant. Fwiw, I don't blame the punter but Hur pr. What they needed to do was put some meat on the bones of what's went on and the implications of what happens further down the line. I feel we've been short-changed with yesterday's rns and the evidence of this can be seen just by looking at the so chart.

Longwait you make a very good point and from recollection I was one of the posters that gave you a bit of a hard time over it. What people like Nigel forget is that we are investors, not traders, not shorters....investors. As investors we are justifiably allowed to be enthusiastic about this company and how it progresses. As it stands we are on the cusp of first oil, drilling again elsewhere on another possible bumper reservoir and what have we been discussing in the main over the last few days? I say forget the naysayers, stick with your gut feeling and see how it develops over the next 6-12 months.

It's interesting in that whenever KC is interviewed the "elephant in the room" question is never asked. Don't know if this is coincidence or it is specifically a no no question to be asked. I honestly don't know how to view. As it stand I'm 50:50 on the fence with it. Other than that I'm getting more and more hopeful of a good outcome here.

Cavendish, I did something similar on the KGI Twitter link to their open letter. I told them I was going to bid for KGI but not tell them what I was offering. Childish and pointless I know but it made me feel a bit better....lol
