Looks to me like they've drawn down the full amount from the previously announced agreement (dec2020). From previous drawdowns where they've done it in stages it looks to me like something has changed.

Daltry, I agree we were led down the garden path with the volumes of oil that were talked of in the cpr. I find it absolutely bewildering that nothing has been done about the blatant misleading of owc oil concentrations that we thought of as oil and NOT small traces of oil in water. I think they knew the connotations of that info being relayed to punters and institutions. In my mind this alone this could constitute a charge of fraud. The bod will be hoping nobody takes up the reigns of finding out why..

Mr Cautious, i agree entirely regarding topslicing. I've learned to my considerable cost that it is prudent to keep an eye on things and take a profit when your limits are reached.

CA also said a few years ago that hur could be valued at $17 billion. As an outsider looking in they will have no insider info. The message they have given is a fig leaf to the new and remaining holders in order to give some hope. I hope they are right in this case....... but?

Cadger, couldn't agree more. People on here can talk this up for all their worth and talk of "a juicy bid" is pie in the sky imho. If this business is such a bargain for a buyer then ask yourself what exactly they are buying. After all the bad news there doesn't appear to be much meat left on the bone. Don't be a mug like like me and pile money into this.....

Watched the presentation last night. The Tesla mine is in Nevada and covers an area of 20,000 acres. There is enough lithium there to switch over the USA to ev completely. The clay lithium process was mentioned but it was so simplistic it left me thinking it was brinkmanship ie just add table salt and hey presto.

CA and Bernstein will do what they need to do and that is to make money for themselves and their shareholders. For all the newbies here that think hur only go back as far as two weeks ago let me divulge a little secret from a fews years back. Bernstein was asked by the bod to join the board and he refused. Ask yourself why......well it would mean he'd then be on the inside and couldn't trade as he wished.

CA poo pooing the new resources downgrade but instead give their own take on oil pooling as opposed to OWC levels... tick

As an exholder I keep getting drawn back to this forum to see what the common themes are regarding this whole sorry saga. It seems that some still think there is a short-term trade to be had and they may be right. However, the difference between the enthusiasm of this board 2-3 years ago and now is stark.
I know some will say that reading the small print in some rns and CPR's is important and it is but when official communications are released stating oil columns in excess of 1km encountered then the small print is entirely superfluous. We have been had here and make no mistake, some knew all along that we were heading for the skids. Up until a few months back if you'd cut my arm off it would have resembled Blackpool rock with the words "hurricane energy" written. Now I'm utterly disgusted that the one man who singlehandedly got this whole ****show rolling appears to have been castrated for a few pieces of silver. We, the enablers of this enterprise deserve at least an apology for what has transpired......somehow I don't think anyone has the balls to do it ..

RNST, in answer to question 1, I can give an unequivocal answer....... yes yes yes. This was the real reason he left. I've had this info for a couple of years but obviously had to keep it quiet. Since it seems we've been led down a merry path with bs of the highest order I think everyone needs to be aware.

Having listened to that presentation for 45 minutes or so......the best I can come up with is that it was wishy washy pish. Not a single difficult question was addressed which made it easy for them. By the looks of it they are in deep doodoo....

DC I understand the underlying sentiment be it either pro RT or anti AM but I don't think I've ever seen any oil analyst getting down and dirty by displaying this level of disparity. He could have just either said nothing or swatted the question into the long grass. Based on that it looks unlikely that he'll be doing any hur interviews soon...
