Sorry fpvone, cez do not own 51% of emh. They own 51% of geomet which is the Czech subsidiary of emh.
Mkdv, you pose an interesting series of questions, of which I think we'd all like an answer to. Snippets from the emh/cez deal rears its head on here from time to time and I'd be happy to read it someone could point me in the right direction.

Thanks for the advice but I'll decide when to buy or sell irrespective of my concerns. As it stands I'm all-in and will await developments as they occur. Hopefully all comes good and nobody will need to come back and say "told you so".

Why am I dragging this up......let me think mmmm. Perhaps it's because politics and business in this part of the world has an air of reciprocity about it. I want this to succeed big time but it would be foolish not to think "what if" sometimes....

Ok Phil here's one.....

The deal between emh and cez has not been completely ratified. As per the agreement, cez can pull out (insert any excuse you can think of), retrieve the remainder of any of the money from the 29 million euro that is left over. Remember cez is 70% state owned so it doesn't take too much imagination to come up with some possible names in government who may pull a string or two. From this emh are left high and dry with no government support or way to obtain mining licences or for that matter funding. You can guess the rest....

Ian, in response to point 1, without dwelling on it too much the share price was approx 80p (pre election) before the current government representatives accused emh of being "Australian thieves". The drop was entirely due to the ripping up of the MOU and because of this we would have needed to created an additional 120 million shares. The fact we'd never have got the mining permits again underlines my point. If they play fair I'll be delighted.....

Casting my mind back 4 or 5 years to the pre-Babis administration and the signing of our MOU I learned a very important (and costly) lesson. ......never take anything at face value and question everything. We are now in the position which at face value is perhaps beyond anyones imagination from a few years back and if everything goes to plan then we are all going to benefit. However I cannot shake off the feeling that we're gonna get shafted somehow.
As it stands CEZ have played an absolute blinder here...... 51% of geomet for $29 million euros, talk of a gigafactory and now an article stating they are forming some kind of consortium presumably with OEM's. Looks to me that it is CEZ who are potential kingmakers in all of this.
My gut is agreeing with some on here of a buyout but at what price?
