Aduk, agreed there is plenty of room here for healthy debate without nasty backbiting but sometimes it's difficult not to stray into unknowns and a bit of whatifery. To some extent I blame the end's that Hur put out. The last 2 have raised more questions than answers and leave us here discussing things for weeks.......and at the end of it we're no further forward

Aduk, I am not throwing any supposition into the mix. The spirit deal as far as I remember allowed them to decide at some point in the future (post drilling) if they were going to continue with the pre-agreed strategy. I'm sure if I'm wrong you'll tell me I am..

If the contract with spirit is called off it would be interesting to see what the financial implications (if any) are.

Jiffybag, my take on the takeover scenario is that I wouldn't be surprised if this whole sp drop was partly orchestrated to enable this. More "sympathetic" recent holders of Hur stock that would agree to a T/O would be a right boot in the unmentionables.

Rc2020, if what you you say is correct then could you explain to me why w/c decreases as the well is driven harder? Seems to me to be counter intuitive.

I think the Oct figures were approx 14k bopd with a 13% w/c so if the Nov figures are accurate then we're seeing a higher w/c but perhaps this was from 7z flowing alone.

Sorry BB bit that is not true. Any upward trajectory of the SP does not require masses of shares to be sold in one go. A constant drip feed of shares in 100k tranches is sufficient to strangle any positive movement.

I don't want to start another CA spat on here but I've a long memory about previous actions over the years. If they were to sell their 5% over the next few months then I wouldn't for one be too despondent.

DC, he's had his chance umpteen times to show his support but the monkey on his back has necessitated the need for CA to sell into any SP momentum in order to keep his fund buoyant.

Albi,lum,jk thanks for the questions about my post yesterday and on reflection I should have written "highly regarded" instead. I know all the caveats regarding Twitter etc but all I wanted to know was who the guy was and whether he could be considered credible or not. Looks to me that he has no more knowledge about FB than any of us on here. I'm still holding...

Wellwell, I posted a question earlier today on another Hur board about this person. The twitter quote that I posted mentioned the word "cowboys" that appeared to me to be reference to the Hur board. If you follow his other posts he doesn't seem to have a high regard of RT or Hur in general. That's up to him but I'd like to know who he is and why some investors think he's highly regarded

Completely agree genghis. We've had a torrid week and I'm not completely sure it was entirely justified. Cast your mind back to the WW result rumours and how quickly an RNS was issued to scotch these. Perhaps we need someone to start mentioning these new rumours on social media in order to get a response lol. An RNS to say so either way is very much needed.
