Back to my point though...the AGM. You posted that Dr T said that there would be no moves on the farm-in front until 2019. That is true, he did say that BUT what you omitted to say was that he was alluding to Lancaster and Halifax. I'm sure if we're really there you'd have realised that.......

Earache, well done on finding this. Looks to me that if the article is true then the gloves are off. I had a look at the article and translated the relevant paragraph using another translator and it looks like the original article has got it mixed up. I think what it is trying to say is that the government wants EMH out "the game" and this is why EMH have reacted.

On the subject of DFS and process technology to hydroxide, I'm pretty sure that we've not been told because of this bubbling under the surface. Why mention the process of hydroxide conversion when we've absolutely no chance of being granted a mining license.

The way I'm feeling about this atm is I would be happy for them to sell the whole lot and let the crooks deal with it.

This report is a tad misleading and helps no-one. They imply that VW will no longer make ICE vehicles after 2026 but the reality is that VW will be stopping development of ICE engines after this date. ICE vehicle could still be produced for years after this.

Without plagiarising anyone's post but dspp on lemonfool quoted the reply from Faroe petroleum on the takeover bid. Their point was that in the last 10 years the average price for North sea acquisitions was $9.50 per barrel (2p and c combined). Therefore $2 appears a bit on the low side to me but who knows.

IJWT, your point of $2 per barrel is a pertinent point going by some of the other posts on various boards that appear to have been initiated by the takeover bid announced today DNO. The jist of these posts are that the per barrel averages are much higher than $2 you've alluded to. So I guess my question is, why would anyone either consider offering this figure or more pertinently (in our case) why would it even be considered?

Joesoap, it's interesting that you have brought up the presentation from January. I remember watching it and hearing the q&a session afterwards. Being a complete non-oily I was a little confused as to the questions asked and the relevance therein. Could you explain to me (and possibly others on this board) why the questioners didn't appear convinced in the answers given and the possible ramifications for the whole concept?

Nigwit, I'm sorry if I'm being a bit thick here but talk of RB being vindicated about Lincoln at the AGM doesn't tally with my recollection of events. I was sitting 2 rows behind him and the question he asked was "would you sell Lincoln for 500 million" He didn't ask about a partner/farm-in but an outright sale. As far as I'm concerned his revisionist view and self-congratulation is to be ignored.
