Hi Sam Smith, in case you missed the question I'm getting it back to the top of the pile, we'd all be interested in your view from being at the AGM.

That's not just a punt at 145k and they've paid a premium for it (when they probably know they could have split that into three or four transactions for less). Is it the first of many to come? After my big talk earlier I got FOMO and bought for 12.2p. it's showing as a sell.

It's getting close Now-or-Never. Will I miss out on multiples for the sake of 4%, lol. In the absence of any new news from RUA to dissect I'll supply some suspense.

Agreed, but they may be unable to for insider trading reasons. Although how that differs from awarding options I am unsure. The last director purchase was by the finance director at 54p in December 22. You wouldn't have wanted to have followed him in that purchase.

You are so very right, but I am confident, bar an RNS in the mean-time that this will be picked up for under 12p next week.

But also, just for context, I bought £2.5K of shares over two transactions in the last ten days for 10.8 and 10.85p. And to prove your point, my finger hovered over the buy button on those too!

That's what I believe - so I wait until Monday to buy at 11.99 and not 12.99. And if I'm wrong, I still own lots of RUA shares!

The persistent seller at 11P may be gone, I think there will be more at 12,13,14 etc. Lots of owners to roll out of this investment on the way up.

I can't even buy £1k of shares with AJ right now. Sell price 11.8.

The RUA SP reminds me of the Story of the Flood:

A man was trapped in his house during a flood. As the waters rose, he prayed for God to save him. A neighbour came by in a rowboat and offered to take him to safety, but the man declined, saying, “God will save me.” Later, a rescue team came by in a motorboat, but again, the man declined, saying, “God will save me.” Finally, a helicopter came to rescue him, but he refused, insisting, “God will save me.” The man eventually drowned. When he met God in heaven, he asked, “Why didn’t you save me?” God replied, “I sent you a rowboat, a motorboat, and a helicopter. What more did you expect?”

When this is well north of £1 how many will wish they bought at 10-12p. I would respond how many more chances did you want to jump in!

I've bitten the bullet and topped up on the assumption DD doesn't throw up any nasties. what's the general consensus on the length of time a post acquisition DD process will take? four weeks?

Revenues in the region of 3-3.5M this year, 5M the following. 79% margin. Capable of breaking even next year. MTA coming to a conclusion. Grafts.

6.6M market cap?!

The SP hasn't changed since announcements on the continued progress of the MTA, £700K in new PO's and a £67K acquisition that generates profit from 2.2M of revenue. It's not just fortunes that have changed, this should also bring some confidence for investors.

Cavendish has a current target price of 25p (before the doubling up of the CM and disregarding HV and Grafts). New target to be published after due diligence.

It's amusing that announcing a new strategy sent the SP to nearly 40p (20p if you double the shares) but major progress towards that strategy does sod all.

Crazy.

so baffling they fall into the "if something appears to good to be true..." category. even 50p is only 30m market cap, it's hardly outlandish. the spring must be coiled so tight there surely is a a massive re-rate due.

cavendish forecast 5m revenues 4m gross profits in a full year based on existing rua p&l and abiss figures. that's without the polish distribution business they now own 60% of. these are *** packet calculations by cavendish's own admission.

maybe after dd a re-rate will happen, or big money is already considering the latest rns.

Interesting I'm assuming the below comments relate to the same contract, any thoughts?

RNS December 23:

"Business development activities are now achieving results in line with the Group's growth strategy. A formal Request For Proposal (RFP) has been received from a global business seeking manufacturing services to derisk supply chain issues across a range of implantable devices. RUA proposed a phased work plan involving project scoping and reverse engineering, proof of concept manufacture and process validation followed by a long term supply contract. Phase one has now been agreed with the client and work will commence on contract signature. A successful completion of this project should result in annual revenue potential in excess of £1 million. Meeting production volumes should be achievable within current clean room facilities."

RNS April 24:

"the Company is pleased to announce that it has succeeded in securing the initial development stages of a significant contract with a global enterprise. This contract represents a major milestone on the route to doubling revenues for the contract manufacturing division once fully operational. Initial development work under this contract has commenced, with an initial purchase order valued at £100,000 already received."

Should grab some attention at the very least.

Perhaps others have thoughts on this, but I felt the Grafts have been 'shelved' for now, which aligns with my hope that should they 'double the scale' of contract manufacturing and commercialise HV then they would have the funds to progress Grafts alone.

Something Samsmith.1800 commented on was the Boards positivity around announcements on both (currently the only poster on here to have fed back from the AGM), if there was an announcement on both it would either be coincidental that they came in quick succession or because success in one led to the other - HV success funding Grafts. That would be a dream scenario, but if they partnered on grafts then sold HV and had millions in the bank, it would seem a wasted opportunity.

But I get ahead of myself, something more than fortuitous contract wins has got to land first.

In my opinion there was a subtle pump and dump taking place this week, hopefully they are out now.

Good news isn't going to move this share on, as reflected in the response to the most recent RNS's. The news will however add to the 'coiled spring'. This one will go on great news, and it will go big. This could change by this afternoon or not for many more months.

The caveat being RUA have to deliver something big - either a big contract win (or several smaller ones), commercialisation (or significant steps towards commercialisation) of the HV or a decent partnership on Grafts.

This is frustrating, but there is a decent core of investors taking the opportunity (gift?) to top up and many that are holding.

It's interesting that more haven't topped up and moved the price onwards.

I'm pretty cautious on RUA, mostly due to burnt fingers, but the recent, very brief, update has addressed a few of the concerns holding me back, namely cost control, growth (CM ), and timescales CM. They appear to have their "tailwind", I may top up as the SP may turn out to be the golden opportunity of the decade!
