Re the contracts - I recall that post too IntraVnus. I think the 400k material contract grew to 700k, not sure if that's an ongoing annual contract now but it was hoped it was, but my thoughts on the new 3.3m over five years contract is as a result of the 100k 'initial' PO received - RNS August 23 and April 24. They could also be one and the same! Hence I look forward to clarity from RUA on revenue.

I think there is definitely a hope they could be bought, and they do appear to have some significant IP and products that with relatively small investment would be very lucrative. I'm primarily here for my expected re-rate now, and the fact that I cannot imagine the SP falling (not without a catastrophe). So hopefully money is safe. Of course, out of the blue developments on valves , vascular or a buyout could have an incredible impact on the SP.

Cavendish have a target of 25p but I think largely disregarding valves and vascular but that was whilst RUA were loss making prior to the new contracts and acquisition. Cavendish research notes on rualifesciences.com.

BB did own 2.57% before the dilution. He subscribed for more but the result was 1.36% of shares owned. John McKenna and Lachlan Smith increased their % at the subscription albeit small. RNS December 23.

They and some other staff all have options totalling 9% of issue share capital at 11p exercisable 3 years from date of grant - RNS June 24.

LS bought at 50p in Dec 22.

I can't see BB or LS doing much buying when they have those options to exercise. Which adds some significance to BB's purchase yesterday IMO.

Also IMO RUA benefited from Abiss' primary customer pushing RUA as the preferred buyer of Abiss. Which is why, so far, it looks like an excellent acquisition. RNS Sept 24

I believe once there is clarity in the finances and strategy, possibly in the year end reports, this should cause a re-rate. I'm out of touch but think current value is likely to be about 1.5 times revenue and the business is likely to be in sustainable.profitability.

Valves and vascular remain assets to be commercialised.

did i miss the breakout of war between the us and china this morning, or some other global crisis. the sp looks like it might just hold its closing price after an rns that puts the business firmly into profit. it climbed just as high last week for nothing.

just to stir the pot a little. they are sitting on an investment opportunity that would cost iro £6m over three years and (*** packet maths here) they could be £2m a year in profit within five years depending on the margin of the new contract (without any new business). would rua attempt to fund this themselves - and how? assuming the fda agreement hasn't expired.

no year end report until mid june - we may still have some time to wait.

All talk has been MTA, which was an exciting prospect for the business that would have resulted in a big bang for the SP. That prospect is off the table for now and unfortunately the industry is slow moving.

I was happy to build a huge holding in the business (far more than was good for me) on the basis that if this MTA came to nothing there was not much further it could fall based on the prospect of them not burning through cash, and even turning a profit which is the likely outcome after the Abiss acquisition.

I believe they have been, but my view is they need a laser focus on CM. If the MTA was with Edwards as suspected, they could have offered £30M for AurTex just to bury it, compared to getting nothing I think that would have been preferable. All in my own opinion of course. The future of the company is still upwards, next news should be regards Abiss. Would be interesting to know why the change in reporting period, perhaps to do with Abiss and aligning them (I think the update points to this).

Pre tax profit of 0.4 are welcome words! I think this is before Abiss is fully integrated to the numbers.

Strictly - I don't think it matters if you balance your portfolio anymore. Reeves just hung a picture of one of the founding members of the Communist Party of GB on the wall of number 11. By the time RUA are ready to make an announcement we will all have £10 to our names.

I imagine a few investors are selling ahead of Wednesdays budget, and possibly big money is holding onto cash for the same reason. It's human nature to fear the unknown. Total speculation of course but I see no reason to be positive about it.

20M raised at 185p to fund US growth, UK growth still strong and expected to remain so. Seems like an overreaction in the market, I expect this to recover, and after the year end report, continue upwards.

You have to wait so long between RNS's, people get bored and impatient and, I think in the case of today, see a falling SP and panic. Perhaps they are not looking at the volumes which are pitiful.

There has been such a long period of low value that there is very few left to decide whether or not to invest, so the buys have dried up. It's only occasional top ups from confident investors that are dripping in. I maintain my belief that this is going nowhere until a decent RNS lands (of which I am quietly confident of). That could be very soon for a DD update (unless they decide to wait for the half year report) or a contract win. The MTA is twelve months old in Dec which coincides with the half year report. If something substantial is announced this could be 25-50p in the space of a few minutes, your 14.9 won't seem foolish then. If something magnificent is announced then who knows where it will go. If it all falls flat, how far could it possibly fall from a 9M MCAP.

It's the only thing that will move this share. We can be sure of news mid Dec at worst. I hope for news on DD or even HV before then but RUA have rarely ever been rushed. In the meantime I think lack of patience is what is driving the selling.

Half year results is typically mid December. This is also 12 months on from the MTA which someone had mentioned is the typical length of time an MTA will last for so it could mark the time we will find out more. The Abiss acquisition was I think five weeks ago. I'd put 4-8 weeks on DD but there is no guarantee when we may hear the results of that.

RUA and our investment are worthless if they are no good in the real world, so your post is very relevent. If after this experience you feel RUAs HV can provide better medical solutions then that's a good thing. I hope all is well with your daughter and she needs no such intervention!
